Just the job
I needed an iPad stand for my bedroom DJ setup.It needs to be quite tall as Iâm 6â1â and very sturdy, even when extended, as the iPad is constantly being prodded and swiped as I DJ.This is perfect!Itâs at the upper-mid price bracket (the most expensive was a good £10 more) but Iâm always wary of buying too cheap as I believe you generally get what you pay for!Itâs incredibly stable and fully adjustable. I also think it looks the DBs.It comes with two hex keys to tighten the joints – but I found them perfectly adjusted out of the box.So far, I canât fault it!!

…although it is possible to find angles and positions that can make the whole unit and tablet take a dive.Work with the limitations and this is nice stand and it is possible to use the tablet without it bouncing abou like a puppet on a string.I have the tablet set up to provide Live transcription of conversations. My mother is very deaf even with hearing aids and the active ‘subtitle’ provided by the program does help with communication between her and all members of the family and any visitors.The stand works well but does need to have the joints tightened to a point you feel that the threads will strip. I am using an older style tablet with a metal case so those with modern plastic shrouded generic devices may find that tight rather than TIGHT joints may be sufficient.Out in use the stand looks good and can be set to hide 90% of the arms and joints which may be a plus.You only buy stands once so get a decent one made from decent engineering materials and it will reward with a good service life.To be recommended.

The kit holds my Surface Pro tablet at the height that I want. Almost at eye level for my average height sitting position. I didn’t want to be hunched over my tablet.The stand is stable. I rarely use the tablet screen mode with fingers or pen. I use a mouse or keyboard. Thus, there is no wobble. The construction is all aluminium or steel, no plastic. The base is suitably heavy. Use the supplied allen key to gradually adjust the stand to the height and setup that suits you. Then gently tighten. It is easy to remove the tablet and the stand does not collapse. The friction setting is good.It is all as described in the product description.With a separate wireless keyboard it has radically changed my work station.I would recommend this product. It has the same spec or better, than much more expensive products.

Great Stand
Fantastic quality, it also includes two Allen keys to tighten to your preferred position. I left it a week to get comfortable and then tightened up the screws, took less than 10 seconds. I use the holder for my tablet which I use for work. Into the tablet I plug a port to connect an HDMI cable, usbs & power cord etc. I bought the white holder which has spring loaded ‘jaws’ to hold your device. Great buy and very, very useful. I needed the height this offered, to ensure my secondary screen and tablet were at the same height. Would buy again.

Using for facetime and streaming. The height is good, but If need it higher, place on table or books. Heavy enough to be stable but not to heavy to move around the house. Take my ipad out of the case to use this. Quite happy, it meets my needs.

Convenient and stable
Really nice, well built piece of kit. Its stable and easily adjustable. I didnât like that it came with an allen key to adjust the joints as there is no where to store it with the stand but once setup it can be easily manually adjusted and you can just about fit a phone in the dock one handed. I use it next to my sofa so i can have Zoom calls with friend and family meaning i have both hands free and be comfortable.

Got this to hold an iPad pro 12.9″ version. Works great for this. The stand is all metal and the base is heavy enough to keep it quite stable with no risk of tipping over. The iPad clamp itself is all plastic though, plenty sturdy for holding the big iPad or a phone, just treat it kindly. Since it’s not metal you could break it if you handle it too roughly.You adjust the tightness of the joints with an Allen wrench (included) but I really wish they had just put knobs on the joints instead as a wrench is never handy when you want to make a quick adjustment.Only downside I have noticed so far is that the arm is kind of “springy”. That is with the weight of a large iPad on it, when you get to tapping the screen it bounces up and down a little. The joints do NOT slip, there is just some springiness in the metal itself.

I have this setup in my guest room with a fire tablet, wireless charger and lamp, and it’s fantastic for bedside entertainment. It also has some heft to it, so it’s exceptionally well made for the price.
