Is this pet camera battery-operated?
No, this is a plug-in camera that needs to be connected to a power source and uses a Type-C cable.
How can I share the indoor camera with my family?
1.Family needs to download the “HOME V” app and register an account；
2.Camera owner go to camera [Settings] > [Share Device] > [Share] > Enter the other party’s registered email address ;
3.Family needs to restart the app to see the shared device.
How does the camera store videos?
You have two options: you can use a micro SD card (sold separately), or you can subscribe to cloud storage through the ‘HOME V’ app.
Do I need a subscription to use the pet camera?
Nope, a subscription isn’t necessary! All the essential features are free to use, and most of our customers enjoy the camera without any extra costs. Subscriptions are only needed for a few premium features.

Inexpensive and works fine
This review is for the indoor version.Very good camera, at a decent price.All works well, good quality image, also at night (infrared B&W; there’s also colour option).Motion detection ok. Pan/tilt movement ok, controls are quite responsive (tilt only works in landscape mode).Works fine just with memory card (when full, older footage is deleted automatically); the cloud storage option (not tested) is inexpensive + adds greater security and additional features, but not really necessary.Videos are encrypted, but you can select and download pics/footage to your mobile, and these are in standard format.Comes with wall bracket.Only minor gripe: no internal battery, so if external power supply is down, it stops working.However, when power is restored it reconnects automatically, no need to re-install it.All in all, I’m very pleased with it; I’m actually thinking of buying the outdoor version as well.

Great piece of kit
This is a super product. The camera unit is similar in size to a wide rollon deodorant and comes with a small bracket and screws. There is a USB cable included for power. We just scanned the QR code on the camera and followed the link. You download the camera website, to your phone for example, and access and control the camera from the dashboard there. The lower camera stays in one position whilst you can select to pan the upper camera 360 degree. You can split the screen to show the fixed camera view and the moveable camera view, it picks up noise and you can also speak through the camera from any location as long as there’s WiFi. Great quality pictures, videos and sound. We subscribed to the Cloud to save hassle and to ensure any motion activation alarms, images and videos are auto saved and can be viewed at any time, by selecting from a drop down calendar. Nothing to fault on this product. Highly recommend as a nanny, surveillance or security camera.

Bought as replacement for my old camera, which I use to keep an eye on my dogs when I’m at work, and I’m really impressed.Took me no longer than 2 minutes to set up. Downloading the app was easy as was registration.Have paid the £1.99 monthly subscription which means videos are uploaded to the cloud rather than just on an sd card and the advanced technology recognises my dogs so won’t send an alert every time they move about.Picture is great quality, and you can change between colour or black and white. Love the pan feature, and I’ve set up different positions so with the click of a button I can easily change to another view.Well worth the money

False alarms all the time. Doesnât connect to live video via app. That makes this product useless as a motion triggered security camera.

Decent for less than £20
The tracking is slow and inconsistent and manual panning isn’t smooth. You also can’t change the speed of panning.Despite being in the same room as the device and on the same connection, the live video still lags and loses fidelity.The 2-way audio is surprisingly good at this price point (provided it is still less than £18 (pretty sure i got it for £15)). My cat never interacted to my voice through the camera…but she is still a kitten.For the most part, the video quality is okay. There isn’t a huge difference between Standard Definition(SD) and Full High Definition (FHD) other than slightly sharper details.The App actually works, not super surprising since it’s made for this brand.You can’t mute the camera’s dictation so it will always say ‘video on’ or ‘video off’ when you enter and exit the application.It fits on standard 1/4 inch tripods like the one shown in the picture. It did come with a wall mount, but it only offers a limited range of angles for attaching the camera. Can’t mount the camera sideways as the picture would show up incorrectly and the app does not allow you to rotate the displayed image. It can only be flipped.The base of the camera is quite grippy, but the cable tilts the camera forward on carpet.

Brilliant.
We bought a second one to keep an eye on the new dog when he was either up or down stairs when we were out. Works a treat as it sends alerts for all motion. Useful when a dog is settling down in a new home and might be a bit uneasy with the new.. You can monitor as much as you like and even talk to the dog when acquiring an app or of course ignore normal movements altogether. The cost for this little camera? Dirt cheap..

Tiene buena resolución de noche y de dÃa, stick para girarla a través de la app, se escucha lo que sucede en el hogar y se puede hablar por ella a través de la aplicación (voz bidireccional) y también tiene alarma. Llegó súper rápido y por el precio no se puede pedir más. Bueno, bonito y barato. Trae el cable para conectarla pero no la base, sirve cualquier cargador de un teléfono actual, por ejemplo. También viene con sistema base para montarla anclada en la pared o situarla fija en cualquier superficie si se desea (ver foto).
