A great camera at an affordable price
This a great little camera with minimal setup and basic functionality at a very affordable price. The picture quality is pretty good for the price, and on par with others in this price bracket and slightly more. No config was required for me and just works out the box with the windows webcam features, which makes it a great quick replacement and afordable camera if you do not fancy forking out on one. I have a handful of teams meetings a month so dont need to fork out on a camera, making this an ideal item for me.

I never leave reviews, infact this is the first review Iâve ever left, if I could give it 0 stars I would, donât waste your money, itâs absolutely useless. It had almost a yellow glow, it makes you look like you have jaundice, that was the first issue, had to buy a white light ring light just to try and combat that only for it to last 2 days and start to go off every few minutes leaving a black screen, Iâd have to unplug it, plug it back in, this became more and more frequent to the point itâs unusable. It lasted a grand total of 3 days, I threw it in the bin, donât make the same mistake I did and buy this rubbish, because Iâve now had to buy another.

Nice picture
This is exactly what I was looking for. My existing camera was too wide-angle, where this fills the frame well at a distance of about 70cm. I like the warmer colour cast also.The audio from the internal mic is terrible. It always is with external cameras. Use the mic built into the computer.

OK for the price
The webcam sits securely on top of my monitor and the design of the stand makes a good level of directional adjustment possible. There is also a threaded hole in mount allowing the webcam to be screwed onto a tripod if required.There is a green tab on the face of camera, which would suggest protective film but that tab pulled off without any film coming with it. Close inspection revealed no protective film (certainly none over camera lens and microphone hole).The box that the webcam comes in refers to manual focus but there is no way of adjusting focus manually â itâs auto-focusThe webcam connects quickly and easily through a USB socket with no issues and then provides a good quality, sharp and clear picture with accurate colours. It also deals quite well with differing lighting levels and its overall performance as a camera is better than that of the built-in camera of my monitor.However, the sound quality from the built-in microphone is not great, so you might want to use separate microphoneOne other thing to note is that there is no shutter or manual off-switch, with the webcam being turned on and off through your computer. So, if you are worried about privacy, you should disconnect the USB lead when the webcam is not in use.
