Selfie stick that can be used in the sea
Brought this to take on holiday since my last selfie stick went into the sea and died.This one states it can go in the sea and so far so good, its been in the ocean several times (i always wash everything in fresh water once im finished) and so far its holding up well. the locking feature is more useful than i thought it would be, and so is the wrist strap which is easy to pull up one handed.I knocked off a star only because the rubber handle – once wet – can slip but its easy to re-position and once its dry stays in place.Overall decent for the price, i will update if this starts to degrade due to salt water

Extendable Pole for GoPro
I have 3 of these already so picked up another one whilst I had the opportunity.These are great selfie sticks for your action cam. A nice long reach which is fully adjustable.Personally I use these on my GoPro for scuba diving. You can get these wet but make sure you properly wash them after use in salt water or it will corrode. Id suggest submerging it and pumping the telescopic arm to flush out any salt water on the inside of the arm.A brilliant product that I will always replace with another when the old one wears out.

Not very sturdy, and not really suitable for Insta 360 X4
I got this as a secondary stick for my Insta 360 X4, as I have the genuine Insta stick also… which is very rigid, rugged, and tough – but I wanted something a little less expensive for daily use.This stick comes at a lower price, but has a lot of quality issues.I have an adaptor to change the mount to the screw-in standard thread mount on my Insta 360 X4, so all was good.The stick is quite lightweight, and the twist to lock mechanism seemed OK at first, but maybe due to the weight of the X4 this stick was not the best idea (to be fair, the X4 isn’t one of the cameras mentioned in the description).The stick isn’t quite sturdy enough for the weight of the X4, and in practice compared to the genuine Insta 360 stick, this is not a great product… the first two sections would collapse to easily and would not lock in place, and I found also that after several uses, the coating became ‘scratched’ from opening/ closing.I will continue to use the stick for more casual projects, but really if you are using full extension a lot, I’d very much recommend a more expensive option like the Insta 360 stick.

I think this is great.
I got this to replace a failed action cam stick that had suffered rust and failed.Its vital that such a stick is dependable as no one wants their precious equipment getting damaged in a fall or worse still, lost over a cliff or in a lake!Therefore I prefer a metal pole like this one, in a worst case accident its likely to get bent but still attached where a plastic one may just snap and detach, camera lost.This stick seems very well made, there is a chunky, grippy rubberised and textured handle, the poles have decent thickness and extend and lock with a small twist – simply.I like the Black paint finish that should protect it from corrosion.Everything has a sturdiness, the alloy end cap, a thick wrist cord with a locking toggle, the end mount is solid plastic and I like the captive nut for the attachment bolt.This is no pocket sized, pack lightly stick, its a strong stick meant to take some serious use.It surprised me just how long it is fully extended. Its going to give good wide view self filming content or for over crowd filming at crowded events.I think its worth the current price of 17 quid considering its quality.

Solid well made action camera pole with range from 30-90cm

I received this item for free as a Vine Voice, but that does not influence my reviews which are my own honest unbiased views based on my direct experience with the product.This is as very nice quality extendable pole. Rather than the common cheap selfie stick poles, this is much chunkier, and solidly made. The hand grip is more than 1″ diameter and covered in a grippy rubber material.The pole itself extends and locks with a simple twist, and holds very firmly when locked – even at its maximum of around 90cm – it is around 30cm long when fully collapsed. The camera attachment mechanism is a standard fitting for most action cameras and fits mine perfectly – the nut is kept attached to the fitting so you wont lose it unlike some accessories I have used before.Overall I am very happy with this pole and it will be a regular feature in my bag of action camera accessories. The price at the time of review was around £16 which is fair value for an item which is well made. I rate it five stars.

Extendable Pole for Action Camera – Classic type selfie stick for action camera with small improvements.It works well with my action camera.The upgrade is the top screw end, making it easier to open and close.Good size as well and once open you have to slowly lock in position. Unlock when you want to retract.It is light and sturdy.
