    Perfect for starlink
Works well for my starlink installation, getting the full speeds from my residential plan. Easy to install and had no issue going under the window with it being shut

Works great. Fast speeds and super easy installation.
Using this for my roof-mounted Starlink Gen 3. Used a ridge mount so no drilling or screws required, then lead the main Starlink cable down to a window. This short entry cable works really well and allows me to keep the window closed. The signal strength doesn’t seem to be affected. I get around 250Mbps with or without this entry cable. The voltage drop, due to the thinner gauge cable, doesn’t seem to affect it. It’s such a short run of thinner cable anyway. Highly recommended for super easy Starlink installs, especially for renters who can’t, or don’t want to, do any drilling to the house. You’ll need to buy another short ethernet cable to go from the entry cable to the router. Get a good quality one and keep it short, like 12 inches, if you case. I have my router on the window sill.

    Gigabit speeds reached !
Used on a mixture of sash + top latched windows. Could fully close them. Getting gigabit speeds so very happy ( max of my isp). They’ve survived the window being closed 5 times or so but I’m sure best to avoid long term. Hopefully hold up.

Great for eco houses where drilling is really undesirable
This is great. I never review anything but felt compelled to in this case as I think this product needs more visibility. I have an eco house, which has very thick walls and is basically built to be airtight. We weren’t even allowed a cat flap! So there aren’t really any ways to thread the cable in. This was a godsend though as we can pass it through our utility room window and shut it completely and it still works. Just installed it so can’t vouch for long term weatherproofing etc. although the weather proofing seal that comes with it does look well made and I have it in the window arch so it should be somewhat protected from the elements.

Great for getting ethernet through a sash window without drilling
Works well, I use this to feed through a period sash window for an external access point. So far I’ve not had any issues with it.

I bought this for a Yarbo yard care system. The Yarbo system is a satellite driven totally autonomous lawn mower and snowblower and cost many thousands of dollars, so the price of this is negligible, and still a very good value for the money for what it can do. The Yarbo is accurate to within 1 cubic centimeter, (Yes, even blowing your snow) so it needs lots of satellites. Even with all that money spent, Yarbo still requires a CAT 6 POE (Power Over Ethernet) connection. They even send you a 330 foot CAT 6 cable to run it on, and a POE injector strong enough to push it. Even if it was on Wi Fi, you’d still have to power it up, so this system is just fine. Just a little more of a hassle because it has to plug into your network router directly. And it has to get to the router one way or another. POE makes that kind of final. The main problem? Getting it inside. I have a very large network inside a Wi Fi envelope with two Wi Fi access points. One in the front of the house and one in the back. Together, they run about 40 devices from my television to my door locks. Both share the same name so they act as one network and are interchangeable to the main network. Off one branch of the main network, I have a bay window on the back of the house. A CAT 6, 50 footer reaches Yarbo from there. And on a shelf in the picture window is a wired Wi Fi access point that covers the back yard. The Cat 6 that runs it is under the floor and connects directly to my 14 port rack mounted central router to the house, my main network. I have hardwired nodes all over the house. The Access Point also has a 1gig X 4 port router built into the back of it, which is hard wired, and why you don’t buy the cheapest access point. This seemed like the perfect place to plug Yarbo in and sure enough, it was. It gave the Yarbo a direct connection from the pole outside where it sits, to my main network, in one hard line with a 1 gig boost in the middle of it. Without using wireless. Yarbo supplies the POE adapter and that’s the only break in the line. And all this is possible because of this 65 dollar Waveform window adapter kit. Unless I want to drill a hole in my house not even knowing if Yarbo might have to be moved, no thanks. Nice Job Waveform! This window entry cable adapter works very well and sure beats drilling holes in your house. And Yarbo immediately picked up 90 satellites. (it maps it and I counted them) Out of the 90, it’ll use about 20 for positioning. That’s what it’s supposed to do, and that’s what it did. This adapter easily slipped through a new casement window that is part of the bay window, I half expected it to cut it in half. But it didn’t even notice it and cranked shut with no resistance. (what?) I was also able to put the screen back on with no hassle or damage as well. Too easy. One thing: You may have to trim the connector rubber easy tabs off the Cat 6 exterior plug for the plug to fit through the exterior housing. It’s bare minimum in size. It could be a size bigger if you want to nit pik.But no matter: If you need to get CAT cable outside and don’t want to drill holes in your house, Or if you need CAT/POE outside for security cameras, StarLink and such, this is definitely the way to do it. You could put these all over your house, only limited by the size of your network. Also; as far as I’m aware, ghost ribbon does not do POE.I highly recommend the Waveform Ethernet Window Entry Cable. Money well spent. Danny J.

Works well. I bought for live-streaming when needing to use cellular data in buildings. I’m able to run this through side doors, especially in steel frame buildings to connect to my mobile router. Using poe I can power my ubiquiti router and not have to worry about weather and exposed electrical connections.
