Great product but the usb-A connections are just too tight against the frame, making some cables too difficult to connect. Suspect itâs faulty but leaving cable plugged in permanently. May yet send back if they honour warranty

Would not support three extended monitors without screens randomly flashing on and off.
I had hoped that this hub would enable me to use two external monitors with my Surface Pro laptop. It seemed to for a few minutes each time and then the external monitors would flash on and off at random intervals.I returned this product and bought the Anker equivalent which, not perfect, works a lot better as far as running two external monitors is concerned.

For:- well-constructed- solid selection of ports- fast sd and micro-sd card ports- good for multiple monitors (up to 3)Against- price is excessive, I see it listed at 50 quid on amazon, though I got it elsewhere, for less than a tenner. It’s around 25 – 35 GBP, but it’s not worth even that, there are better, similar mini-docks, e.g. i-tec, targus dock412, which you can get for about 15 – 20 quid, nominally ‘used’.- it’s larger and heavier (125g) than a similiar (though not identical) i-tec mini-dock (102 g), yet with fewer ports, UNLESS you need to plug in multiple monitors- usb-c port (PD, power delivery), when plugged into laptop usb port, you can’t use that PD port to deliver power to other devices, like a wirelss mobile phone pad. Yes, it might not have been intended for this, but my other mini-dock by i-tec- it’s a shame (applies to i-tec dock too) tha the usb-c cable just dangles pathetically, when they could have designed it to half-fold and wrap around the body, I’ve seen other designs to do just that.- main irritant, rather than a problem, is how it… sounds. Well, it’s made of aluminium, presumably, and it does look and feel ‘premium’, and most likely this helps to dissipate heat, but as you handle it ‘on-the-go’, when you ‘camp’ at various locations away from your ‘home’ desk, any time you manipulate this dock, move it, brush it aside, put it elsewhere – it makes a lound, unpleasant, gritting sound against the table surface, or laptop, or practically anything else. Not the end of the world, but definitely not welcome if you work in a quiet environment.

Value for money and the product to work
The item is not working it does not project the laptop on the screen and it is a brand new laptop I have so I had to use a HDMI lead and the product got so hot after 4 hours you could barely touch it this item will be coming back straight after my holiday Regards John.

Passes audio fine but wouldn’t work for two HDMI monitors (the reason I bought it!). I assume the other untested connection work fine, but I just went back and spent £10 on two display only adaptors instead.

Ive been using for a few months now and have not had any issues. Comes with all the plugins I need. I currently use it for an extra 2 monitors, mouse, keyboard, ethernet cable and I still have plenty of room. I would definitely recommend. My only complaint would be the shape of it, when you have several cords plugged in it gets a little awkward shaped. Not a lot you can do about that though.
