My son thinks this is great, had it for his 12th birthday, for the price it’s worth the money, gimmicky thing really to jazz up his new xbox that I finally managed to get hold of, mouse and keyboard work fine, plug into console and that’s it, if you have a nanny and grandad or someone saying “what does **** want for their birthday” and you can never think of anything this would be a good affordable option for them, would recommend Xx any young gamer would be impressed even if they don’t quite know how to use it ð Xx

using the mouse part now actually, i bought it originally to hook up to my xbox one and it works perfectly on there, i like the lighting effects and i didn’t realise the mousepad was included so that was a nice surprise when i opened the box. keyboard is a good size and i like the clicking sound when i type it sounds like the older keyboards you get with desktop computers, the mouse is fab and has a constant light display, great for gaming in a dark room, i am not a habitual gamer so not sure what the extra buttons are for but i have known gamers who say gaming mice must have those for some reason, better that the mice at work and have considered buying one and taking it in but i’m not sure how they would feel about the skull images on there they might not think it’s very professional haha, overall great products would buy again.

Mouse wheel doesn’t scroll
Everything is fine for purpose but for whatever reason, the mouse wheel just alters the volume controls and won’t scroll a browser (Google or YouTube)If there’s no way to configure the wheel or to fix it in general then don’t bother using it and use a different mouse if you have 1Only reason I got it was it was 50% off tbhFeels like I still got ripped off

Lit characters barely visible
Having Ms I needed a keyboard with the characters lit up on the keys as shown in the advert photos of this product, sadly once plugged in and switched on the keys are just black back lit squares and I’m unable to see the characters on top, not happy at all as I bought this with my daughters Xmas money, only buy if you know your way around a keyboard blindfolded
