Excellent service great company values.
I have bought 5 of these Wi-Fi switches (one first, and then another four latter) which are Alexa compatible in white. My porch has black and chrome tiles and so I wanted a black switch to match. I contacted the company as they were the only company advertising their switches in white âWHERE YOU DO NOT NEET A NEUTRAL WIREâ and asked if they make them in black. They responded, immediately with âgive us a couple of daysâ and within two days they had added Black and Gold colours on to their selection of switches on Amazon web page. The salesperson was very polite and more importantly, these switches do NOT NEED A NEUTRAL LINE, and this is important to me as my house was re-wired in the late 60s before neutral wires were a standard and to find Wi-Fi switches that work with this sort of wiring is rare. I found one such switch (different make and company) for my kitchen which has florescent tube lighting so I cannot use Wi-Fi bulbs, it works OK but has a tendency to switch on my kitchen lights at random and so I have replaced all my current switches with these new 5 and so far, they have all behaved themselves immaculately. No more getting up in the morning and finding the Kitchen light on. ð ð ðOne last thing, I didnât want or have the option to re-wire the house as all the present wires are chased into the walls (without plastic conduit) and would need major work with complete re-decoration to my house.

Can be used as a Two way switch…
Straight forward to install and setup, great features like timer function, “Automation” (e.g. If Landing Light is on, switch on Stairway Light), “Tap-to-Run” and works well with Alexa. The question and answer section says that you can’t use this as a Two way switch, you definately CAN (if you use two units together). I have shown how I have wired two together using original Two way wiring (effectively dropping the common wire), I then created four automation “scenes” in the APP (If Unit1 is turned on, switch on Unit2; If Unit2 is turned on switch on Unit1; If Unit1 is turned off, switch off Unit2; If Unit2 is turned off switch off Unit1)Also, with supplied capacitor fitted, works well with B&Q Alani LED, no flickering.

Total rubish
This is a nice looking light switch, easy to install. However, 1) to turn it on or off you need to keep your finger for at least 2 seconds and then let go (found this after a lot of attempts) 2) it’s not on Alexa’s list of switches despite claiming to work with Alexa and Alexa cannot recognise it and 3) possibly most annoying the lights constantly flicker.

Great Switch, but you need a deep back box.
This switch works very well, using the Smarter Things App, and in turn, with Alexa, although I know itâs compatible with all other Smart Assistants. It comes with a capacitor to connect in your light fixture, but I have installed two of these switches, and have not used the capacitor, as I suspect this may have been something that was required when lighting wasnât all LED based. Either way, I have not had any issues with flickering, or anything else, so I am leaving my install as is for the moment. This is a WiFi based connection, so no hub (such as a Zigbee hub) is required, and no neutral connection is needed either, which made installation easy. The only issue I frequently find with these smart switches and sockets, is that they tend to have large modules that can be a pain to fit into the original back boxes the old switch has come from. This is not usually too much of a hassle to replace the back box with a deeper one, but sometimes this canât be done due to the paper-thin dividing walls frequently found in newer homes. This is the reason I give this switch four out of five stars, because to accommodate the new switch, I regularly have to use two spacers stacked on top of one another, and 40mm 3.5M screws, to secure it all to the wall, essentially making it stick out of the wall rather than being a flush fit, but itâs safe, and looks ok, but bear in mind, this might be something you might need to do. I also have less drop out issues with WiFi based switches than those that depend on a hub, and find that when I set up a WiFi switch, itâs pretty much a one time affair, and will work as it should every time, whereas a hub-based system often needs to be switched on and off again, or uninstalled from the hub and reinstalled, but thatâs just something that may happen to me, and I could be the one at fault. If youâre after a flush fit finish, remember the module is large, and requires a deep back box, but if youâre ok with spacers, itâs a good bit of kit, and after all, how much time do you really devote to looking at light switches?

Fantastic looking smart switch
Love these! Bought 2 and will buy more. Fairly easy to install, the set up was a little tricky as I had to split my BT Hub into 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz and switch off the 5Ghz to set up the switches and pair them with Alexa. If youâre handy at DIY and Tech – no problem but otherwise you may have to get an electrician.I love them as the black glass matches my kitchen hob, oven etc. And no more fingerprints needing wiping as no one needs to touch them!

Nice switch , customer service not so good
Lovely switch , mine came with no L3 or L4 terminals , even though on wiring diagram on listing it clearly shows them. Contacted seller and eventually came back saying I had ordered wrong switch , I asked for explanation as L3 and L4 pictured on item. Havenât received a reply a week later. Update. Reply is I have ordered incorrect switch , seller is getting confused between gang and way

Schalter funktioniert einwandfrei.
