Excellent for the price
These microphones are very very good. Highly sensitive with very low signal to noise ratio. I would highly recommend them. The two I received were well matched enough to use as a pair for stereo output. Incredible value for money.

Cheap and very functional, crisp audio captured outdoors.
This is a genuine review not a paid for one! I bought this for £5 to add to my CCTV setup at home and I have been seriously impressed. Such a cheap component but so valuable.It can pickup voice audio very clearly, even outdoors where I have it installed. It can pickup voice several meters away which is very impressive. For example in the evening my CCTV camera range is reduced significantly but it can still pick up audio even though you can’t see certain areas.No idea on the durability for outdoors, it’s certainly not IP rated but you can mitigate this with the location and fitment type.It is certainly susceptible to wind noise which can then obscure voice. However the key thing to note is this is £5! Can barely get a meal deal for that price!My CCTV only has one audio input so only needed one mic and it works a treat.Do not hesitate to buy this to add to your home CCTV setup. I’m not aware of more expensive options but as this offers such good value for money I’m happy!

An amazing mic
I was not expecting much from this mic at the price but it is fantastic for the price. It is very sensitive and picks up sound well. It does suffer from background and wind noise, but I have limited this slightly by fitting closed cell mic cover over the end. I have it installed in a junction box crimped in one of the entry glands. This keeps water out well and it survived the recent storms with over a months worth of rain falling in a day. There probably are better mics out there but not for this money. I reckon for indoor situations it would be perfect.

Worked well with POE camera but you need a male to male phono cable
Cheap as chips microphone that seems to pick up audio well. However most cameras have a female phono audio connector and this mic also has a female connector, so you need to a male to male phono connector.For the money you canât go wrong.

No issues with Swann system
I added this to my Swann DVR system and have had no issues. I have placed it outdoors with protection from the elements using the soffit. Audio quality is great and reaches far further than expected.

Poor sound quality
Not sure if mine was defective but I have a constant background noise from the mic. I made sure it was out of the wind and is no where near any noise generating items. I would return for an exchange but itâs too well installed in the loft to bother.

Works a treat, no setting up of anything. Plugged straight into the CCTV. Using it with my bird box for a fully immersive experience of nature.

Hätte das Mic an eine Hikvision IP Camera angeschlossen, bekomme aber kein Audio zustande, egal welchen Audiocodec ich einstelle!Es müsste vermerkt werden, an welchen Ãberwachungskameras das Mikrofon funktioniert!
