On very short acquaintance the item is functional, and the silicon loops to connect it to the lightning cable are a useful feature. As to durability we can only wait and see with this well priced item.Post script to this – unfortunately a device left on charge overnight using this adapter did not charge at all, so Iâve taken advantage of the returns procedure.one star then Iâm afraid, and keep looking.

These were exactly what were described but unfortunately I hadn’t looked properly in my tired haste & ordered these by mistake then had to nip in local store to buy an actual cable instead.Seeing what they are I think they’ll do the job they were intended to do.

Bought twice and both times didnt work
I was really disappointed with these. I tried them on multiple devices, including my iPhone and Macbook air, but they simply didnât work. No audio, no recognitionâjust completely unresponsive. I followed all the instructions, checked compatibility, and even restarted my devices, but nothing helped.Thinking it might just be a faulty batch, I sent them back and ordered another set. Unfortunately, the second set had exactly the same problem. Itâs frustrating because they look well-made, but appearances clearly donât match performance. Iâve now given up and bought a different brand, which worked straight out of the box. If youâre looking for reliability, Iâd recommend steering clear of these.

Im pretty impressed. These USB C adapters do run at full USB 3.0 speed (5Gbps), but be CAREFUL!. Some devices will only connect and power up on one side. If you have issues, just unplug your device and rotate your USBC device’s cable 180deg and replug it in. My Logitech streamcam will connect at full speed and power up on only one side. This seems pretty common with the cheaper ones. If you need a good one, check out my favorite the ORICO USB A to C adaptor , they connect at USB 3.1 speed, and its nice (10Gbps) for connecting SSDs, the down side is they are $7 each. Charging wise, it seems to work great and charge your device normally. 4 adapters for 4 bucks, worth it to convert your old reliable power outlets, surge protectors, and USB chargers to USBc I’ve been using them on all my USB A wall outlets and powerbanks so that I can now charge up my USBC devices including newer apple devices. Grab them now!
