Set up to 6 time slots a day. If you’re going away you can switch your lamp on and off as if you’re still at home.
Just pair with the Hive Hub and add your plug device on the Hive app.

It really works
It really worked! I was getting poor signal and no connection warnings. Ultimate result being could not use the app to utilise Hive. I rang Hive and they asked me to do all the usual, switch it on and off move nearer to the command module etc, etc ; all which I had already tried. Then the chap started to talk about the Zigbee? Zigbee is a type of Wi-Fi signal and that standard everyday routers like yours and mine do not emit?? By installing the plug emitting the Zigbee Signal all is well 5 bars on everything – fantastic ! Who knew about the Zigbee? So happy and itâs worth doing; so on those winter nights you can put the heating on remotely and off of course. And it really works all hail the Zigbee.

Hive does what itâs meant to do
First time using these new design hive plugs, just as easy to pair and use as the old style though and much smaller that the older type which is a bonus in my eyes Whilst nothing from hive is cheap, you get what you pay for a decent quality bit of kit that just works, would certainly buy more and probably will as Iâve already identified other things I want to control using one

A little expensive, but works really well.
Purchased to aid lighting when on a recent holiday. Works very well and easy to use via the Hive app. It is a little expensive, but the fact you can easily alter times, rather than using the plugs with the pins was a bonus.

Hive Booster
Annoyed that I needed to buy another thing for my heating to work properly, the house isn’t that big. Seems to be working well as a booster though, we leave it on as its got the kettle plugged in. Haven’t had issues with the heating since.
