Great product but have patience configuring it.
I have a number of Meross products and can’t fault them. They work and are not expensive. This power strip is excellent, particularly with the USB C charging ports. The one niggle is pairing the products in the app. Some I have found work first time, pairing immediately. Others several tries are needed.With this, the power strip, I had ensured only 2.4 GHz was running on my network. First attempt the app saw it as did HomeKit but then nothing else, it saw it and that was it. I tried several times, factory resets as well, before eventually getting it seen and in the app and functioning in HomeKit. I found that leaving mains power off for a time, ensuring the network was 2.4GHz only, switching on and holding the on button down for a reset, eventually got it to be seen by the app. You have to input the model number in the app for it to be found. It never found it of its own volition. Don’t rush the pairing process, it takes some minutes, just let it happen and it will do its thing. Once installed it an excellent piece of kit to have.

Great product! Some limiting features.
Fantastic tool. Such great quality and works a dream. The one limiting factor is not being able to set timers on individual sockets easily. Connecting the device was easy but I would recommend doing the app sign up before linking to HomeKit. Very good price. Would highly recommend.

Great device.
Pros, very easy to set up. Especially when Integrated into Home Assistant.Looks good, first well in what I have.Cons, not sure if the USBs are working correctly. I can only use one at a time. If I plug two devices it causes them to flicker on and off. I have checked the wattage and it seems to be regardless of what I plug in.Wall mounting is a pain. It fits well vertically but horizonally it will fall off a lot. Should have had a cross for full wall mounting functionality. However easily overcome with some wire clips and/or a shaped bit of wood mounted to secure against it.Dear god the green lights are bright, I’ve put masking tape over them to dull them.Overall worth it, it might just be my devices draw a little more power than expected but I only use one at a time.

Easy to set up affordable Smart powerstrip with 65W fast charge USB-C
This is an initial review, limited to setup.First impressions very good. Remember you need to set up on your 2.4Ghz network. Two failed setup attempts on my part before I realised I was trying to do it in one of the worst coverage parts of the house. Moved rooms and tried again, picked up immediately and very fast setup.Tried a lamp in it. On/off via the app all fine, no lag, with an audible on/off.All 4 sockets are individually controllable. Like others have commented, Iรขยยd like the USB to also be individual not a group.As someone else commented, Iรขยยd rather not have yet another app. But in fact you can connect via HomeKit and miss out the Meross app but then you donรขยยt get firmware updates. (My device arrived up to date)Iรขยยll update here once Iรขยยve had more use with it.

Struggles with Wifi
I have a number of Meross devices and when they work, they’re brilliant. I have issues with this device that if I have to reboot my wifi router, the power strip never reconnects afterwards. Yes it works as a powerstrip but I could have purchased a ‘dumb’ strip for a fifth of the price. I’m not ruling out that it’s the fault of my TP-Link router, but all my other non-Meross devices work still……..

so i have had plug sockets with usb adaptors built-in but this one powers every thing as fast charge my phone my usb c laptop and always fast charge , and if you buy the amazon USB C to DC Power Plug, HKY USB C Type-c PD Convert Cable to Universal Laptop Power Adapter 15 Barrel Jack for HP Dell Toshiba Lenovo Acer Asus Sony you can charge laptops without usb c charging so no big power adaptors on most laptops, there is some it does not work on and there is a limit to it gaming laptops are one , and it is wifi controlled which i don’t need , this is my second one so very happy not have chargers every were ,
