Ideal SPDIF digital coax for CD player to Amp
I bought this to link a CD transport to an amp. The quality of this cable for the price is very good. The RCA plugs get a good grip on the connector’s of the CD player and amp, however they don’t grip so tight that you feel that pulling the cable out could rip the connector off like monster cables, which is very good news 🙂 in fact, I would say that the RCA plugs on this cable, are amongst the best I’ve ever used. The build quality is very good as well and the cable feels really well made and should last a good long time. The cable, being well shielded is quite thick and has some weight to it, however, it’s still easily light enough to not put strain on the RCA ports of equipment. It’s reasonably flexible too.In terms of sound quality, I can’t really comment because, in my case I’m using it as a digital lead, so it either works or it doesn’t, I can say that it definitely hasn’t hurt the sound from my CD player and the sound of CD’s sounds great to me ears. I’m sure that if I were to use it as an analog cable for a Subwoofer, then it would work really well because the RCA plugs make really good connection and the cable is really well shielded.Overall, if you’re looking for a well made digital coax cable, this is a very good option.

Wonderful Clear Sound: No hum, No hiss.
I used this to connect a Marantz Amp to a REL HT1205 and the clarity of sound is astonishing.I know that in the manuals and on Hifi websites (where you purchase kit) it says to use RCA cables with speaker wire but, electrically, I cannot see how that would offer any improvement over a good quality shielded cable if only a line signal is being sent to an active speaker. If you have a passive sub-woofer without its own amplifier, then I would advise using Speaker cable. This cable is great. I connected this to my Sub-Woofer 1 RCA port on the Amp and the other on the sub-woofer and thatâs it. The connector is nice and tight, the cable is tough. The sound is great.I tested turning it all the way up with no signal and there is no noise, no hum, no hiss. Just silence. As it should be; this is the sign of a great cable. Music sounds great and movies are awesome.

worth a listen
cable & rca plug appear robust.electrical cabling for audio purpose can contrast according to well compiled hifi components. these BlueRigger cables are fairly cheap what can allow differences between other similarly priced cable to be heard.from the start, sound is analytical. some hours later, soundstage opens up.Definitely worth a listen in a high-end audio system. at the price, could be a decent attribute

Sturdy Construction Quality Subwoofer Cable
Connected up and works well. Cable exudes quality and easy to connect while engaging well to both amp and subwoofer. Quite a thick cable but this presumably is the double insulation. Would recommend.

No nonsense good value
A very good, well made, no nonsense cable. It works perfectly to connect Wiim to DAC! Couldn’t ask for more. No need to pay a fortune for a perfectly acceptable cable.

Excellent subwoofer cable.
*** EDIT: I upgraded to a DALI 5.1.2 system (although the sub is a 300W Yamaha) approximately 3 years ago & I specifically kept this cable to connect the sub (LFE) to my Sony AVR, especially as it was less than 6 months old at that time. However, over the past 2 – 3 months the Bluerigger RCA cable had begun to intermittently fail & eventually it just gave out completely. Ordinarily I’d purchase another BlueRigger cable but I’m not particularly impressed given their price tag, it’s only a 3 1/2 year old cable that’s never been moved since its installation, yet it still began to slowly degrade & eventually cease functioning. Ultimately, I purchased a replacement cable from another manufacturer in this instance & immediately realised just how bad this faulty BlueRigger cable truly had become before failing. It had been degrading so slowly over time that it took me far longer to notice than an outright failure which I would have obviously noticed immediately, & I would have preferred, (so that’s annoyed me even more). Reducing my original rating to 3 stars as the longevity & value for money for this product clearly are not up to spec to decline so gradually & eventually fail as this example has. I’m hoping it’s a one off but it’s still left a bitter aftertaste. Not impressed!! ***BlueRigger produce various types of high quality cables & their subwoofer cable is certainly well up to spec on first impressions. They’re a brand I’ve used many times in the past & that I trust. They can be a little pricey but you usually get what you pay for & they’re worth the extra IMHO. My new Onkyo subwoofer included an RCA cable but it clearly wasn’t shielded at all & it was very poor quality indeed. (I expected better from Onkyo/Pioneer!) I immediately looked up BlueRigger for a quality replacement.Their cable is very thick & it clearly has the necessary shielding for high quality LFE audio. The connectors are solidly moulded onto the cable too. (RCA connectors on cheap/included cables I’ve used over the years have literally moved around in the jacks & have been a loose fit). These RCA connectors fit very snugly into the jacks & need firmly seating into place. They really do look & feel quality right across the board, not to mention my 5.1 system sounds great.Supplied in a heat sealed bag including an insert card with full product specifications & the manufacturers details. I’m very happy with this product & I’d purchase again in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. 5/5.

Alles in allem einfach genau richtig!

In the heart of my cozy Pine Hollow den, my home theater was a symphony of mediocrityâsound that fizzled like flat soda, with my subwoofer whimpering instead of roaring. Desperate for a fix, I scoured Amazon and stumbled upon the BlueRigger RCA Audio Subwoofer Cable (25FT, Dual Shielded, Gold Plated RCA Connectors) for a mere $21.00. The promise of dual-shielded, oxygen-free copper and gold-plated connectors felt like a sirenâs call to my audiophile soul. Little did I know, this cable would unravel a sonic odyssey that transformed my evenings into pulse-pounding escapades. The package arrived, and the 25-foot cable, sleek in black with gleaming gold connectors, looked like it belonged in a recording studio, not my humble setup. I unplugged my ancient, crackling RCA cable, which had more static than a bad radio station, and threaded the BlueRigger from my AV receiver to my Klipsch subwoofer, tucked in the corner like a shy beast. The cableâs flexibility made navigating my cluttered entertainment unit a breeze, and the gold-plated plugs clicked into place with a satisfying snap, promising a connection tighter than a vault.I queued up Inception for the ultimate test. As Hans Zimmerâs score swelled, the subwoofer unleashed a deep, visceral rumble that shook my couch and sent my cat bolting. The cableâs dual shieldingâbraided copper and aluminum foilâbanished interference, delivering bass so clean it felt like Leonardo DiCaprio was planting dreams in my living room. The 24 AWG oxygen-free copper core carried every low-frequency nuance, from the filmâs earth-shaking explosions to the subtle hum of its quieter moments, with zero hum or hiss. A review on Amazon called it âa budget cable with premium punch,â and I couldnât agree more.Emboldened, I hosted a movie night, cranking Mad Max: Fury Road. The BlueRigger turned my den into a post-apocalyptic battlefield, with engine roars and crashes vibrating through the floor. Friends, usually unimpressed by my setup, gaped as the subwoofer growled like a chained beast, all thanks to the cableâs flawless signal delivery. Even vinyl sessions on my old turntable, connected via an amp, sang with warmth and depth, the cable proving its versatility beyond home theater.Months later, the BlueRigger remains my sonic lifeline. Its durable PVC jacket laughs off my clumsy cable tugs, and those gold connectors still gleam, corrosion-free. For $21, it didnât just connect my subwooferâit connected me to a world of immersive sound, turning movie nights into cinematic events and quiet evenings into concerts. Pine Hollowâs no concert hall, but with this cable, my den pulses with life, drawing neighbors to my doorstep, lured by bass that beckons like a forbidden dance. The BlueRigger isnât just a cable; itâs my ticket to audio ecstasy, proving that for a few bucks, you can buy a whole lot of wow.
