Found the Right Dimmer Switch !.
Dimmer Switch with no Flicker on low setting , Found one and here it is , and a ร‚ยฃ1 cheaper than the previous one I bought on Amazon. I had a new Media wall built with 6 deep separate shelves , This dimmer did the trick on low level subtle lighting with no flicker at all , the 6 down lights are Intergral Led none replaceable bulbs ,

Easy replacement for old-style dimmer switch.
We have a couple of old-style dimmer switches in upstairs bedrooms which have worked great of the years with halogen incandescent bulbs but cause random flickering with modern LED bulbs. I had resisted upgrading the switch because the quality of some early LED bulbs we tried was not that great, the light did not have a “relaxing” ambience for the bedrooms to our taste. Modern LED bulbs are much improved in that regard and I can not really tell the difference when I swap them in for the old bulbs. This dimmer switch has a panel with the same dimensions as the old one so it really was a simple job to remove the old one from the wall and put this one back in its place, the wiring is very simple too, just a live and a common wire to attach (I did the exchange with the upstairs lighting circuit turned off at the fuse box for safety). I was able to reuse the old screws but two screws and white screw caps are included in the box in case you want to use all new fittings.I really like the “soft-start” function of this dimmer switch, which you can barely notice in practice but helps extend the lifetime of bulbs. The rotary control is lovely and smooth too, especially compared to the old switch which had a slightly “clicky” feel. There is a small screw inside the panel which you can adjust before installing the switch which allows you to set a minimum level for the light, I didn’t change this from the default since I prefer the ability to completely dim the bulb but it may be useful for some bulbs which dim too quickly or flicker at low levels. I didn’t notice any flickering, hum or other noise and the dimmer worked very smoothly with both the old halogen bulbs and some new LED ones.

Trailing edge dimmer, smooth action and compatible with LEDs
This looks like a standard dimmer switch, with a push button on/off action and rotary dimming control. It is neatly built, in a classic style, with a moulded case around the electronics. It is reassuring to see the UKCA certification mark printed on the moulding. The switch is compact and will fit a 25mm back box.The three electrical terminals (COM, L1 and L2) are grouped at the top, the mains wiring fitted from the back and screwed down from above. The dimming is 0-100% and there is a screw adjustment to trim the minimum brightness. The 3-100W range is more than enough to suit most domestic dimming needs. The soft start is nice, the dimming action is smooth and flicker freeThis switch is supplied with 30mm mounting screws and two plastic caps to cover the exposed screw heads. The locking nut holding the electronics case to the plate arrived a little loose, so the knob has to be removed so I can apply a spanner to tweak the nut tight.I am pleased that this is a trailing edge dimmer, as this means I do not have to worry about compatibility with my new LED lamps. I am replacing my halogen lighting with LEDs and this dimmer switch will be useful.

Good for LED, also good for converting existing dimmers to LED
This dimmer has a push-on, push-off action in addition to what is a very smooth rotary action, allowing it to be used in both single and multi-way switching configurations; a second switch in a two-way setup will turn the light on or off as normal, but the dimmer continues to set the brightness. A small adjustment control on the rear allows the minimum dimming level to be adjusted if necessary. It’s 20mm deep and the wires exit from the rear of the dimmer with the screws at the end (some dimmers have end-feed wires and back-facing screws) so the dimmer needs a minimum of a 25mm back box; shallow 16mm “light switch” boxes will definitely need to be replaced.Another use for this dimmer, and one which I’ve used it for, is replacing existing non-LED dimmers in other fittings to facilitate replacement of incandescent, halogen or compact fluorescent bulbs. Note that the locking nut may have a different thread to that on the existing dimmer, so you may need to swap that over as well. It’s worth noting that the terminal holes only have room for one wire. If you need to get more than one wire into a terminal, for example in two-way configurations where there’s a triple-and-earth linking to a switch elsewhere, you’ll need to use block connectors or three-terminal Wagos to get both wires linked to one terminal.

Well made No flickering / jumps even on previously troublesome dimmable LED bulbs
Well made Dimmer switch, 2 way push switch (C, L1, L2) and rated for 3 – 100w of LED and 150w of incandescent lighting. The rear screw terminals are large enough for the standard 1 and 1.5mm lighting circuit sizes (Small flat head screwdriver and quite a few turns to close and firmly clamp thin wire) On mine I found the thin front fixing nut also needed to be tightened very slightly too on installation to stop the switch part moving on the plate when turned. This then worked fineOn test I connected it to a new lamp of some small 6W dimmable golf-ball LED’s that I’ve had trouble with non-starting and/or level jumps when used on certain other well known electronic LED dimmers. This Dimmer was absolutely fine. No noise or flickering, overheating or any other issues were seen /noted.On the rear is minimum light level adjustment. This adjusts any dead area at the bottom or the dimmer range so that the bulb lights (dimly ) as soon as the dimmer rotary control is advanced above zero. This required a bit of a hunt for a very very small insulated screwdriver but once adjusted it works as expected. It didn’t adjust far enough that the very minimum setting was OK as a night light, but a small turn and this was fine for thatOverall very good
