Easy set up and programming
I assumed the sales picture was a remote control – didnât look closely enough! Need to pair with a Smart Phone.Installing the App and pairing with Alexa is painless. Programming the schedule times was also easy and works perfectly.

Good quality product. Easy and safe to use and straight forward to set up and connect to the application.Able to control the extension lead using wifi (Thing to be noted, it only works with 2.4GHz wifi). You can turn on/off the socket individually with indicator light as shown in the second photo. You can also set timer and schedule it to turn on/off whenever you want. It has a 2 type A USB and 1 type C USB plug for mobile phone charging.Lightweight, strudy and durable. Cable is1.4 meter long, works with goodgle assist and alexa.Sadly, In the 3rd and 4th photo, it shows that there were scratches even before I used them. So I give a 4 star only.

Took me a while to figure out why the 3 plugs were not working correctly. They have been configured in the wrong order! Once I worked out which plug was which, I could then program them and set timings etc

Very poor connection with smart life
Very poor connection to smart life. It keeps forgetting the connection and so you have to setup again and again. I bought a second one as I thought it was faulty but it kept doing the same. I have hundreds of smart life gadgets and sockets and they all work perfectly so it’s not me. Both items now in bin.

A sturdy and very useful multi socket power strip.
My first impressions on opening this was how sturdy it was. I have another multi socket strip although not a smart socket which is very lightweight by comparison. I have my laptop and associated devices plugged in to this socket and it is shoved under a chair with a lot of wires. I usually turn it off at night because of the tangle of wires etc. Being a smart socket, there is no need now to scrabble about on the floor!It was straightforward to set up and use once I had downloaded the app onto my mobile and logged in. The lights clearly indicate which sockets are active and which not. Via the app, I was able to set different times for the sockets to come on and go off. For the sake of trying it, I set the laptop and my device hub to come on at a different time to my Paperwhite charger and it worked perfectly.The only negative that I noted did not concern the socket strip itself but rather the app and the written instructions that come with it. When setting on/off times via the app, you are asked to “Confrim” to save the chosen times. Attention to detail only as it doesn’t affect the socket strip and its operation at all. Overall, a very useful and sturdy smart socket strip, that is well worth the money.
