Great speaker for the price
First impression was nice look and feel to the speaker. Fully charged it, connection was quick and easy. Then my surprise was the sound. I had low expectations because of the price but it really does perform very well.

A great little speaker….But…
Great little speaker this!.I have been listening to it constantly in the kitchen for the last 2-3 weeks, and it never ceases to amaze.I only bought it for use on an upcoming camping holiday,as I knew my phone’s stereo speakers were not up to the job,so a BT speaker was needed, rather than carting a LP-2020A,running of the car battery, and a pair of stand mount Wharfdale 9.1’s to the campsite! (and I dont fancy having my open back headphones on all day in the (hopefully) baking sun either).I have used it with ‘Poweramp’ on a Moto g,with over 100gb of music on an SD card,of which 90% is ripped to 192,in a slow rip/HQ setting, from CD in ‘DbPoweramp’.So here is a quick rundown of the different types of connections to the speaker I have tried in the last 2-3 weeks, and my thoughts on them….BT – Good solid connection, sounds fairly good, and is loud. Not quite as detailed as other connections, but that is to be expected, due to the limitations of bog standard BT…3.5mm jack, from phone to speaker – Sounds slightly better than BT,but no way as loud on quieter recordings.Needs a few tweaks in Poweramp to get the volume up,sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t.Not really any huge improvements overall…Objective 2 headphone amp, with (homemade) pro standard J2J leads, from HP out on phone,to amp, amp into speaker – Sounds awesome!,both at low volume and high, really detailed (as far as a ripped CD at 192 can sound).Needs the amp turned up to 11pm,and the EQ/volume controlled in Poweramp to get the best sound though…Chromecast Audio,Objective 2,pro J2J’s,casting to the Chromecast Audio via the Moto G’s own casting feature, not the Chromecast app – Sounds awesome!,and loud.Lots of detail, listening to it as I write this.Tweaked Poweramp EQ settings, loud, and very spacious sounding, can’t believe this coming from such a small speaker!.Laptop to speaker, again using pro J2J lead – Sounds great!,tweaking the sound via VLC.A bit closed in,unless playing a CD,but overall very good.Laptop to Objective 2,via above leads,to speaker – Much better, more spacious, more detailed sound, depending on the source material mind.Pure One Mi,above J2J from HP out into speaker – Massive improvement to the tiny Pure One Mi’s speaker!,it sounds a thousand times better, and loud if required. All in all,a fantastic little speaker.Cannot rate it high enough!.I have to be honest,I am a bit of an audio nut,my day to day system is a mix of hi end vintage reference audio equipment, via CD,or FLAC rips from a very capable soundcard, and to be fair,if you think this little speaker is going to sound like that, you will be sadly disappointed!.BUT,if you know the limitations of very small speaker design,BT & 192 mp3 sound quality restrictions, you will be VERY pleasantly surprised!.Battery life is between 4-7 hours depending on the overall output volume.Would I recommend someone to buy one?,YES!,as long as you know this isn’t ever going to sound like a decent home stereo setup, but as a quality speaker for close range kitchen or camping use,you can’t go far wrong!.Edit – Since my above review,I have noticed this speaker does not charge up if there is anything plugged into the 3.5mm input jack socket, and it also doesn’t seem to charge up whilst in use…So i have knocked a star off for the fact it doesn’t charge whilst in use.Apart from that,it is all good.It does seem to take ages to charge up using a Samsung charger though….(about 6-7 hours).

OH DEAR
Atrocious sound, it’s all shrill and no bass and i mean no BASS!. The sound is honestly bad in every aspect,,, oh and I’m pretty sure it’s not defaulted ‘ it’s just that bad. It’s a shame because it looks nice and got some feel of quality about it…. Enough said.

Enjoy it!
