Get rubber glue/solution!
Great kit, but do also purchase some suitable rubber solution/glue to assist with fitment! (Search Weldtite Rubber Solution)Great kit for the price, the tool handles are very solid and the auger and file can be removed from the handles and then mounted in a battery drill for easy use.Be warned, unless you are an absolute beast (and very heavy), you will certainly need some glue/solution (to use as lubrication) in order to get the plug material all the way through the tyre. With glue/solution installation is easy and takes very little effort. For me at least it was impossible to install without it.

Buy this one. Others don’t compare.
I’ve had 3 puncture kits, one I binned before using because it was so bad, the other worked but wasn’t great. This one, works exactly as intended, is very easy to use, the tools are good quality considering it’s price, and stays in the case very well. Had to use it once on my car and again on my brother’s a week later, both times it saved the day. Don’t wait for a nail in the tyre.. Just get it!

Sturdy set.
Having used this style of repair kit I am still surprised they still don’t come with all you need. As a minimum you still should have a flat and pozi screwdriver for removal of screws. Likewise small pliers for any nails. The all metal design make these safe for the strongest of users. I have seen plastic handle designs fail causing injury. When using the reamer prior to repair use grease and work it into the hole vigorously to help with inserting plug. Use plenty of glue. You can but more tubes on Amazon. Remember to pull out insertion tool briskly to ensure a good seal. Be safe.

OK But!
Great quality tools but when I tried to repair a puncture from a small screw in the tyre the bung failed. Tried a second one and it failed again. Looking at other kits they supply a rubber cement so that may be the problem that there is none with this kit. The tools themselves are worth the cost but be aware you may need more product.

Surprisingly easy & works
I was a bit sceptical about this with it being just รยฃ10, I had a repair like this done in a tyre shop a couple of years ago & paid รยฃ20 for the privilege so decided I would have a go.I have repaired 2 tyres that had screws stuck in them, pulled out the screw with a needle nose pliers which is not included but is definitely the best tool for the job so make sure you have one before attempting a repairChased the hole direction with the spiral attachment first, both were straight in so no complications there, I then followed this with the rough reamer tool fileing the hole & cleaning it upI then threaded one of the strips into the tool but I did have to squash down the end of the strip to thread it in then folded the ends up towards then handle, I used some soapy water in a spray bottle to lubricate the hole & strip but no matter how much I tried I could not get it into the hole it was too small so I ended up drilling the hole out with a 8.5mm drill bit & was then able to get the tool with the strip into the hole 2/3rds way then pulled the tool straight back out (do not twist the tool) trimmed off the excess with the included knive pumped up the tyre & checked for leaksRefitted the wheels as I had removed them to make it easier, 24hours later have done about 40miles driving about half at motorway speeds & the tyre is holding pressure fine so the repair has worked & is holding up so far, very pleased with the results
