Very small bluetooth Tx and Rx, easy to setup and works well but sound level adjustment is limited.
I find the Echaar Premium mini Bluetooth 5.3 Transmitter Receiver a bit of a mixed bag, I can see it uses but it has limitations. It is incredibly small and the first thing I noticed was that removing the aux cable from the slot is difficult, I could not manage with my fingers. I then set about trying it connected to my laptop and then my phone for listening through bone conduction headphones. Setup was a breeze, turn on both devices and they very quickly connect and I could hear sound, but that sound was quiet. The only was to get a decent level was by adjusting the source (ie laptop or phone) the amount of adjustment from the Transmitter is limited. Further, pressing the BASS button had absolutely no effect whatsoever and I have yet to work out why. Once you overcome the sound level, the quality was pretty good, nothing special, but perfectly adequate for how I am likely to use it. It is too early to comment on battery life but as it hardly dropped while testing it looks like it will last well. Its attraction is its small size (I am keeping it with my headphones) and I think it will be useful for listening while moving around when the source device has no BT.

Very useful little gadget
Works great – converts any standard audio output jack into Bluetooth audio that you can then pair headphones with. Alternatively it can do the reverse and you can hook it up to a non-Bluetooth speaker input allowing you to stream audio from your phone over Bluetooth to it.

stopped working after a few weeks
I requested this so that it could transmit to two sets of earphones from one phone, unfortunately I misunderstood the details and unless you have a phone with a headphone jack hole this will not work. However I do have a DAB radio and a tablet with earphone jack so can use either of those to play music to two sets of earphones where others don’t want to listen. This works perfectly and the instructions are easy to understand.Update June 2025. The unit stopped working and would not turn on.

Great little bluetooth transmitter / receiver. Works brilliantly.
I needed a solution for my son, and this little Bluetooth transmitter / receiver was perfect for the job. He uses a monitor for his computer and gaming consoles but the monitor (like most) doesn’t have Bluetooth built-in. He really wanted to use his favorite Bluetooth headset, especially for gaming without being tethered by wires.Setup was ridiculously easy. My son just plugged the adapter into the 3.5mm headphone jack on the back of his monitor, set it to Transmitter (TX) mode and paired it with his headset. Took maybe 30 seconds.The sound comes through crystal clear to his headset with no noticeable delay or lag. The best part is, because his game consoles (like his Switch and PlayStation) are also hooked up to the monitor, this little adapter now sends all that audio wirelessly to his headset too. He just leaves it plugged into the monitor and whatever device is displaying gets its sound beamed right to his headset. He’s really thrilled with this item.W haven’t really tested the receiver mode or the hands free calling much as we got it specifically for transmitting audio from the monitor, but for that purpose, it’s flawless. The little LED display is handy to see what’s going on, and the battery seems to last ages. Very good item.

Works well for a very specific need
I couldn’t really work out who would want this, but I tried it out on my old Sansa clip, and paired it with my Marshall headphones. It works fine and I guess is great if you need to convert a jack to Bluetooth.The sound quality was fine and not much different than your usual SBC.If you need to convert a 3.5mm device into Bluetooth then this will do the trick

Excellent For Travel
We only need the “Transmit” feature on this clever little device, but it can act as a receiver too. On an Aeroplane (for example), two people can pair their ear buds to this, and enjoy an in-flight film together (as long as you are both watching the same thing!). I have tested it from the earphone socket of my TV and I am able to pair two sets of ear buds without issue). I get very good range on both sets of ear buds – and the 10m range claim is borne out (without obstacles). This is more than enough for typical use, and the battery life is great.In “Receive” mode, you could (for example) connect this to the aux-in 3.5mm socket on a car head unit, or a non-smart TV. It can handle telephone calls in this mode too – with a button to switch from music to call mode.There is a simple switch to toggle between Tx and RX modes, and a clear LED display showing remaining charge percentage, as well as icons for each set of ear buds (you can of course use just one set of ear buds). The 3.5mm input/output aux cable tucks neatly in to the side of the unit which keeps it safe, and makes it easy to stick in a bag or pocket.This is a very well made and smart looking unit – it works very well and I’m very impressed with it.
