Outstanding value with the addition of adjustable DPI make this mouse a bargain
Over the holiday period I was fortunate enough to be asked by TeckNet if I would review a couple of their products. I have bought several of their items in the past and always been extremely impressed. Generally their products are well built, perform brilliantly and are extremely good value for money. The TeckNet Econo 2.4G Nano Wireless Mouse TeckNet Econo 2.4G Nano Wireless Mouse, 18 Month Battery Life,2000 DPI 3 Adjustment Levelsis no different. The mouse is solidly built, although like a lot of their mice, it is very light to use. personally I don’t mind this, but some prefer something with a little more heft. It is extremely comfortable to hold and use and works well across a multitude of surfaces. As it’s a wireless mouse it comes with it’s own nano usb receiver that plugs into a standard USB part without sticking out too much, so it can be left in permanently if desired. When not in use there is a storage slot in the battery compartment of the mouse to store the receiver so it doesn’t get lost. Although this is a basic mouse with scroll wheel, it also has the added advantage of being able to adjust the DPI by pressing the button next to the scroll wheel. This means that you can adjust the sensitivity of the mouse (something that is not available on all wireless mice) which comes in especially handy if you use a large monitor or multiple monitors as I do. Adjusting the mouse to a higher sensitivity allows one to move from screen to screen without having to make huge mouse movements. All in all, this is a great value mouse and I would have no hesitation recommending it to anyone looking for an inexpensive wireless solution.

An excellent wireless mouse at a bargain price
For the price, this is an excellent mouse. Responsive, easy to control and comfortable to hold. One feature I particularly like is the on/off button to conserve battery life. The USB receiver fits inside the battery compartment so is nice and secure when you travel.If I was to make one criticism – and this is being very picky – I have had a TeckNet mouse before that felt a bit better quality. Too early to tell if that is the case but it’s hard not to compare the two. Hence only 4 stars.But, overall, I would have no hesitation in recommending this.

Up to Technet’s Usual High Standards
I’ve got Technet bits and pieces which go back at least a decade and all still working perfectly. Never had anything but excellence from them, and this is no exception. Connected instantly with 2.4g; plus bluetooth paired without delay. Good there are two connection options: bluetooth has the edge as makes no difference how far away you are from computer, whereas with 2.4g I noticed that mouse is more responsive the nearer it is to the (supplied) dongle. Only other thing I could fault is lack of instructions for adjusting the rate of cursor travel across screen (this has a techy acronym which I can’t remember). Turns out each time you press little button on top it it wheels one more notch through the three speeds then starts again. That aside, is comfortable, smooth, fairly quiet, and doesn’t have that annoying new thing where it only wakes up when you click it – i.e. it wakes up soon as you move it. Brilliant and cheap.

Well it says here that it is silent, Mine is most definitely Not! I did not at the time know I wanted a silent one and bought this based on the price and functions, (I have found when it comes to mice that paying a lot for one does NOT always get you a good one) I bought this for my wife who plays a lot of games and the constant “Clicking” can be, a bit annoying ! So it was my fault that I did not pay attention to it being, or Not being, silent.I looked back at the listing of this mouse from when I bought it, and it said nothing about being silent so my bad, I then did buy as listed from the same firm another mouse, it seemed Identical -but – it was listed as “Silent clicking”. ( see my other review) weirdly it was cheaper, I bought that one and all is well with the worldBut this one is certainly Not silent..

Je suis vraiment satisfait de cette souris TECKNET sans fil ! Elle est très ergonomique, avec une prise en main confortable, même lors de longues sessions de travail. Le design est simple mais élégant, et elle reste discrète sur mon bureau.L’un des meilleurs atouts de cette souris, c’est sa fonctionnalité silencieuse. Les clics sont à peine audibles, ce qui est un vrai plus si vous travaillez dans un environnement calme ou partagé. Fini le bruit des clics agaçant, câest un vrai bonheur !En termes de performance, la connexion sans fil est stable grâce à son récepteur USB 2.4G. J’ai pu l’utiliser sans problème à une distance de plusieurs mètres, sans aucune coupure ou latence. De plus, elle fonctionne sur presque toutes les surfaces, ce qui la rend vraiment polyvalente.Le rapport qualité/prix est également très bon, surtout pour une souris avec ces caractéristiques. En résumé, je la recommande sans hésiter pour ceux qui cherchent une souris silencieuse et fiable, à un prix raisonnable.

This mouse is comfortable in your hand and it glides neatly and seamlessly across multiple surfaces. mouse It’s very responsive with no lag and all of the buttons work perfectly with a satisfying click. The scroll wheel is comfortable and scrolls without pausing or jerking. I appreciate the different DPI levels for times when you need better sensitivity. I plugged in the USB dongle- which is securely stored in the battery compartment- and it started working immediately on my Windows 10 system. All in all, this is a great mouse, and it’s even better when you consider what you get for the price. A real value!
