Does exactly as it says but some devices are not able to be used automatically
This does exactly as stated, except for my sky mini box does not come on automatically so switch has to be pressed on the unit to watch tv. But you get what you pay for and this is cheap for what it is and not a big deal to me to get up and press the switch. Could not give all the stars though as this could be made clearer in the description as some people may buy in error

Does the job perfectly
This 3 port hdmi converter works perfectly for me. I had previously ordered a cheaper converter that looks very similar to this product due to the very good ratings it had, however when mine arrived it just wouldnt work so I returned it to Amazon. When this one arrived I could see why I had paid more for this. It was obviously made of superior materials and was a good quality product. What’s more it worked first time around as it was supposed to. It will switch over automatically if there are no other hdmi units working but if there is one switched on it’s simple just to select the input manually. It comes with a good length of connection cable allowing me to plug one end in the tv hdmi socket and secure the converter end to my TV stand with a little blutac to save ‘fishing around for it if I need to switch manually. Nice product and I found it definitely worth that bit of extra cash.

Auto switching seldom works
Works well as a hub, just be prepared to go round the back of your telly to switch it manually. I use it to switch between a Firestick and a PS4. It will switch the PS4 on when I donât want it and then wonât switch to the active Firestick when I switch the PS4 off.Itâs frustrating and not what I thought I was buying.

Simple and effective
Great piece of kit that does the job. I needed a HDMI splitter to plug both my Sky box and XBOX into my single ported TV after 1 month too long of switching cables manually. Plugs straight in to the tv HDMI port at one end and allows for up to 3 items to be plugged in the other end.The converter is sturdy, cables are short so no messy wires hanging around and with the push of a button you can flick between gadgets! Simple but effective piece of tech! Would highly recommend and was definitely reasonably priced and ordered/delivered without a hitch!

Conflicted with Samsung smart sensing TV
This worked well most of the time but my Samsung TV has smart sensing technology that often overrides the Fosmon’s ability to sense which device is being used. The primary issue was that the TV would ‘see’ my Samsung DVD player and switch it on (from cold) even though I was trying to use another device, a BT Youview box. So not a foolproof solution. In the end I turned off the Samsung’s remote sensing technology. They say you can’t, but you can.Unplug your TV from the wall for five minutes. Plug it back in but don’t switch it on. On the remote, press the following sequence: Mute, Volume down, Channel down, Power on. Autosensing will be disabled. NB I don’t know if this can be reversed!

Bonjour à tous, je possède ce switch 4K depuis maintenant 5 mois et je vais donner mon avis.J’en ai eu besoin car je possède un écran de PC avec seulement un seul port HDMI, mais je voulais y branché d’un côté mon PC et de l’autre la box TV. Je voulais également pouvoir passer de l’un à l’autre sans difficultés.Résultat des courses, ce switch est un produit très efficace qui permet effectivement de passer de l’un à l’autre dès qu’on éteint l’un des deux. Par exemple, si j’ai la TV allumée et banchée au port numéro 2 et que j’allume mon PC branché au port 1, la TV est coupée et j’arrive sur Windows en seulement 2 secondes.A noter : il y a une prévalence du port 1 sur tous les autres. Si j’ai le pc allumé au port 1 et que je veux passer à la TV port 2, cela ne se fera pas automatiquement car le PC est sur le port 1 et celui est celui qui gagne à chaque fois. Dans l’autre sens, cela fonctionne sans problème. Il vous faudra donc parfois switcher automatiquement entre les deux, en appuyant sur le bouton visible sur l’image de présentation. J’imagine que c’est la même chose entre le 1 et 3 ou 2 et 3.Voilà pourquoi il faut mettre le périphérique le “plus important” sur le port 1, pour moi le PC.Au niveau de l’image, aucun problème, elle est parfaite, je n’ai pas remarqué de lag du au câble, ou dâinterférences. Le son pareil.Par contre, petit point à noter : une led verte est constamment allumée sur le boîtier, et cela peut gêner si vous regardez un film par exemple, il faudra donc cacher un peu le boîtier et faire câble management correct.Conclusion : Très bon produit qui répond parfaitement à mes attentes, automatique et sans aucun défaut à part peut être la led verte. Sachez que ce genre de produit coûte environ 40 euros en boutiques (genre Fnac, Boulanger…) alors vous ferez dans tous les cas une très bonne affaire en achetant sur Amazon, je recommande donc ce produi !Pensez à cliquer sur le bouton “UTILE” si mon commentaire vous a paru instructif et s’il à permis de répondre à certaines de vos questions. Ho acquistato questo sdoppiatore di ingressi HDMI in quanto avevo necessità di poter collegare e scollegare rapidamente PC fisso e portatili al televisore, possibilmente senza rovinare le prese HDMI del TV. Si è rivelato un ottimo acquisto. Non ho riscontrato perdite di qualità del segnale (neanche con videogiochi a risoluzione 1920 x 1080), il cavo robusto e rivestito in maglia di nylon autosostiene il proprio peso evitando stress meccanici su connettore e presa. Lo sdoppiatore dispone di un sistema di commutazione ingressi automatico con possibilità di selezione manuale, la selezione automatica funziona in modo corretto (viene data priorità all’ultimo device acceso) tanto che non ho avuto bisogno di utilizzare la modalità manuale. Per il prezzo è decisamente un ottimo prodotto. Consigliato.
