So small yet so effective
Absolutely tiny sized hub in comparison to the old Belkin one it replaced which was over 15 years old. Any way it’s very well packaged and the setup is so simple even a 5 yr old could do it (ok a 10 year old). Main internet cable goes into the far left and you plug in your ethernet cables and bingo fast internet connection. I have them on my computers upstairs and no need for wifi. I have tested the speeds and I’m getting top speeds. Great piece of kit and the price is amazing.

Small, neat and functional
I like it; the pros far outweigh the minor cons.Really small and discrete, side-mounted power means I can set it on the “front” of the router against the wall at the back of my desk, low enough power that it doesn’t get warm in operation. Runs at full gigabit speeds with no packet drop (tested with iperf3 between two laptops), cheap enough that I can put one on my work desk and my son’s desk; neatly replaces an (overkill) 24-port switch I’d been using before.Only had it for a few days so far but it’s running fine and really surprised me with the *size* (or lack thereof).

Super compact switch but ports are upside down!
This is a super compact switch with excellent performance which (for me) and was attracted to it due to the small footprint and the side power port. A number of TP switches with metal casings have the power port on the back which means for my media unit it takes a bit more space than usual, and this is where this compact switch comes in – it’s about the size of a credit card and can handle 1Gbps speeds! However, coming from TP-Link switches, it seems a bizarre design choice by UGREEN to have the Ethernet ports upside down! This means you need to twist the cables the other way which isn’t easy if you’re using rigid CAT6 or similar cabling, and for me to use this switch I would have had to place the unit upside down. The downside of placing it upside down means that you can’t see the status/act LEDs because they’re on the other side. Not sure why they couldn’t have just stuck the ports the right way around! Surprised to see that no-one has mentioned this in their reviews – but it is visible in the pictures (see attached) so do make up your own mind if this is suitable for your needs. Anyway, I have bought another TP Ethernet switch instead, which will meet my needs better. Overall, though, this is an excellent value for money switch that’s super easy to use!

Excellent little device
Perfect, it provides a good solid link to all my devices with no loss of signal or data speed. Easy to set up and good value for money. Nice and compact and does what’s on the box.

Pretty amazing little switch
I don’t write reviews often so here we go:The fact that you can get a switch as small as this, is plug and play, and works immediatley is great. I needed this to allow a 2nd PC in the study to get internet and it’s worked great. Both are getting 1Gbps connection speed via the Ethernet adapter settings so transferring games via Steam’s own integrated functionality worked seamlessly. The bottleneck at this point was just the drive speeds (unrelated to the switch). If you need a switch to just connect up multiple devices in 1 room without having WiFi or a bunch of ethernet cables running to that room, at 7 quid no less, this was the obvious choice.

Does what it says, for a good price
A small and decently built little gigabit switch, just plugs in and works. It can be wall mounted, and has activity lights. Very satisfied for the price.

Good and high quality.
The network switch operates as advertised. Data transfer speeds are not affected. Green products are always of high quality.

1 of my router I have had (it’s Nokia Beacon 2), it has 1 Ethernet port, which is not enough for my gadget and networking appliances. After a while of seamless setting up, it connected to my Nokia Beacon 2 via 1 of the ethernet port (Port #1), without any issue. This ethernet port has 5 ports (port #1 is for router) which is, more than enough to cover my needs.Big thanks to UGREEN for this innovative unit.I planned to buying it, for my other usages, as well.
