HOW TO USE THE TIMER 
Step 1: Select the Timer Setting
Move the button on the side of the timer to the position for timer.
ON position means Always on;
T position means Timer mode
Step 2: Position the Pins
Position the pin to the time you want the electricalitem to come off or on.
For example, if you want the timer to turn a light on at 7 p.m. and turn off at 11:00 p.m.. For timers, you would set the pins from 1900 to 2300 at the down position.
Step 3: Set the Current Time
Rotate the dial clockwise so that the dial’s number aligns with the current time on the clock and the position on the dial that says Current Time.
Step 4: Test It
Test the timer by manual advancing it to the ON pin to see if the light you plugged into it comes on. Advance it to the OFF position to verify the light turns off. Reset the timer to the current time after testing.

Very cheap but they work okay
These timers are a little fiddly to set up and they’re not terribly accurate because of the very small clock scale. However, that said I knew that would be the case and for what they are they work okay. You can set on/off times by the half-hour. The good part is that because of the mechanical switches you can set as many of these on/off times as you want to. You simply lift each 1/2 hour switch for off or press it down for on.It’s not easy to set the exact time so you’re not going to get exact results with these. But if you simply want to have lights come on in the evening when you’re away, or switch on heaters in the morning etc then these cheap switches should do the job.I tested both and they worked fine and made absolutely no ticking or other noise whilst in use. The red ‘override’ button is useful to manually switch on if you want to.
