Screwless switch. Neat appearance and good quality build
Having fitted a Lider SP light switch and being impressed by the quality and screwless look of the faceplate, I therefore decided to order one of these 13A sockets to check out the build quality and finish. These have a good quality switch action and look neat and minimalist with the hidden screws.I noticed the price of the screwless Lider devices appear to be a little more than no name value equivalent, however IMHO the neat finish of these and apparent quality makes up for the price difference.Note that the depth of the socket is about 22mm (excluding the clip on cover) so these might be a tight fit in a standard 25mm box by the time cables are fitted, however an easy fit in a deeper 35mm oneRecommended.

Safe and durable
This modern wall socket is safe, durable, and easy to use. I asked my electrician to fix it. It looks good and also provides safety. The double safety design meets UK standards, so itâs perfect for both homes and offices. Itâs also simple to install with clear markings for the wires. Made from strong materials, itâs built to last and comes with a 1-year warranty for peace of mind.

Good-quality glossy socket with neat modern finish
I was pleased to compare the LIDER 1-Gang Switched 13 A Socket in glossy white with my usual MK-branded sockets. The screwless front plate gives it a clean, modern look that sits flat on the wall, and the glossy plastic finish looks bright and smooth. The plate clips on securely and is easy to remove using the small slots at the bottom, so there is no need to dig at the wall with a screwdriver. However, if you donât know about the slots, it isnât immediately obvious how to take the plate off.I found the switch slightly stiff – not necessarily a bad thing – but it has a positive action that clicks cleanly between off and on. The switch is also a little smaller than on my MK sockets. It looks different but the overall appearance is smart, and the lack of visible screws makes a nice change.Installation was straightforward. The terminals are well-marked and angled to make wiring simple, and it fitted neatly into the existing UK back box. The supplied screws were the right length and the job was quick. The switch feels solid in use and the child-proof shutters give reassuring resistance when a plug is inserted. The socket itself feels sturdy and stable. At £6.99 it costs a little more than a basic white socket, but the screwless design and neat appearance make it look more up-to-date without being expensive. Time will tell how well the glossy finish resists marks, but first impressions are good.Overall, I am pleased with the appearance, build and ease of installation, and I think its quality justifies its slightly higher price for a more premium socket design.

Clean Finish Socket â Perfect Quick Replacement
This socket was a great replacement option when I needed something quickly. It was easy to install, and the included screws were the right size, both in length and width, which made the job much smoother. I was able to fit it in place with minimal effort, and the whole process didnât take long â which was important since I didnât want the power to be off for too much time. The socket itself looks clean and presentable. Itâs nothing flashy, but it blends in well and, most importantly, it works as expected. If youâre looking for a straightforward, reliable replacement socket, this one does the job without any fuss

Did the job
I got this for adding a spur to an existing ring main that will power a tv on the wall. It is decent quality and includes the correct screws. Really easy to instail just like any other brands of sockets. It works well and is nice that the screws are hidden out of site.would reccomend

Simple, unassuming, modern and functional socket
I chose this one because I like the appearance – simple, understated and modern. Wiring is easy, the switch feels solid, plug slides in and out without trouble and the screwless faceplate snaps on securely. It’s also easy to remove the faceplate at a later date without gouging the wall with a screwdriver as there are small slots at the bottom. The plastic is reasonably hard and solid so it shouldn’t get scuffed or scratched easily by misaligned plugs and of course the socket works too.I am a bit wary of buying products from unheard-of brands that have the potential to kill you but this appears to be a US company. They have a website and the product comes in a branded box. Not a guarantee of quality or safety of course but more reassuring than some. Also (joy!) the screws, including the terminals, are phillips rather than flat. There’s not a lot to differentiate one socket from another but this one seems to avoid all of the potential pitfalls and for plain white plastic it looks good too.

does the job
The switch is a little smaller than UK buyers might be used too. It is also a little on the stiff side, not like the Hager switches. Not sure I like the hidden screws, difficult for the next person to figure out.
