Expensive, but worth it
It’s a rack shelf. Rack equipment has the ‘rack tax’. What you want is something strong, and this shelf really holds up. I have two of them and the extenders are really nice, I have a StarTech 25u rack and this fits perfectly. It’s holding my 4u Unraid server and it’s doing a fine job. Ive no worries about this buckling, or coming loose. It’s a bit fiddly mounting it as 1 person but its a heavy shelf and its going to take 3-4 hands to get it fitted properly (or just brute perseverance!)All in all it’s exactly what it says on the tin, you get what you pay for, and this is a quality shelf.

The shelf is great, well made and very sturdy.I just wish it was slightly cheaper as I am going to need another 1 or 2 of them I think when I finally manage to get the 25U rack from StarTech to replace my cheap and nasty 19U Ebay rack.

Very difficult to installâ¦
Good heavy duty shelf, but donât follow the instructionsâ¦The shelf comes in 5 pieces, the main shelf, and 4 rails which allow the shelf to be adjusted to fit different depth racks. If you follow the instructions and install the 4 rails onto the shelf, then the shelf will not fit into a 19â rack because the screws stick outâ¦.You have to half assemble it, then put it in the rack, then install the other rails. Probably the worst designed piece of rack hardware Iâve ever had to installâ¦..

Questo scaffale per rack è una delle cose forse essenziali per qualcuno che ha un rack a casa, visto che non tutti possiamo avere tutto rackmount.In particolare, io lo uso su un rack 12U della stessa azienda. Il montaggio è facilissimo, ci si riesce anche da soli. La lunghezza è regolabile attraverso delle viti ai lati ed una parte che scorre.Nel mio caso, riesce a ricoprire tranquillamente tutta la lunghezza del rack.Arriva con tutto il materiale necessario per il montaggio (anche cage nuts, se non le avete per il rack) e delle istruzioni semplici ma utili.Attualmente lo uso per mantenere degli alimentatori, il mio ONT, il mio router e un NAS pieno con 8 dischi al suo interno (molto, molto pesante), e regge tutto senza particolari problemi, non si piega e rimane tutto ventilato grazie al design con i fori sotto.Ottimo prodotto, soddisfatto.

pas très pratique à installer (plus d’1 heure)semble solide (ça a l’air de supporter 15 kilo) mais les systèmes de glissières ne sont ni ergonomiques ni rassurants
