Easy to build, very sturdy
I read the reviews before purchasing, I got the impression that it was very difficult to build, but was sturdy when built.I found it extremely easy to build! All of the screw holes were properly aligned and it feels sturdy when built. The included shelves are rated for 25kg – I put a 24kg UPS on one of them and it still seemed nice a sturdy.Do note that the top and bottom slots are filled with the included blanking plates and do not accept cage nuts, I don’t see any reason you couldn’t swap one of the ‘support bars’ in those slots with a useful unit though. The wheels are strong and make it very easy to move around, even when loaded. I’m very pleased with the rack, excellent value for money!

High quality, great value rack
In short I’m very impressed with this. I’m using it in my “data cupboard” at home to organise home AV/server/cable patching etc.The construction is very solid and the finishing is to a high standard with no rough edges or burrs. Everything screws together very smoothly without having to force alignment. The supplied feet and wheels are very high quality and provide height/leveling adjustment. The supplied cage nuts and screws fit well. The shelves are solid and take the loading well. All in all this is one of the best racks i’ve used, is great value for money, and would happily recommend to anyone.

Sturdy Quality Product
I am delighted with this bit of kit. Importantly for me it’s sturdy, feels well made, uses quality materials and is good to look at if you’re into the techy vibe; it looks right at home in my studio. It comes with a generous amount of quality fittings and goes together well with a bit of thought.Assembly went well despite occasionally making me fill in the gaps on the instructions. I did consider giving this 4 stars because of this and a couple of issues. The wheel lock nuts aren’t captured and I just couldn’t get a spanner or socket in to hold them so abandoned them. Tip: if you want to really secure the wheels other than by hand you’ll need an thin spanner a bit like those Ikea supply (it would have been good if that had been included). Also, the M4 screws securing the shelf arms are a bit fiddly and need careful handling. Why not just make them like the rack fixings with caged nuts on the shelves? However I’m very happy with the look and quality of the unit and would definitely buy one again if needed so it’s 5 stars.

Good rack for a homelab
I bought the 20U version to tidy up and organise several small computers and networking devices at home. It’s a sturdy unit and looks good. It comes as two pre-assembled square frames that make up the sides of the rack that you join together with cross members and the top plate. The top plate is solid enough to take the weight of a good sized LCD monitor without flexing. The provided castor wheels roll smoothly and quietly on a wood floor and there are also simple feet provided that you can fit instead. One negative issue is that you lose use of some of the U spaces due to the cross members that join the two side frames. If the rack is assembled as per the instructions, you only get 18U usable at the front and 16U usable at the rear, as the front cross members are 1U each, and the rear ones are 1.66U each (see photo) to support wall-mounting the rack. This loss will be more significant with the 16U or 12U version of this rack. It would have been useful if two more of the front style cross members were provided to go at the back when wall mounting isn’t needed. Two 14″ depth cantilever shelves are provided that are fine for lighter items, but noticeably flex and sag in the middle if you place heavier items on them. Two mid-tower PCs ended up leaning towards eachother. I had to buy one of TecMojo’s sturdier non-cantilever shelves to avoid this.Despite the minor issues, I feel that this is a good rack at a good price.

Home Lab Rack
Couldn’t be more pleased with it. Easy to assemble and took less than 20 minutes. Instructions are clear and there is also a video on their webpage. Good quality and it feels sturdy.I raised the lower crossbar so that the vacuum cleaner has a happy home underneath.I just wish I would have opted for a size or two up. Already out of space and the other gear is still stuffed away under the stairs.

A brilliant open rack system
A brilliant open racking system. Very well made, sturdy and easy to assemble. This rack now holds our small Solar Power Generator.I cut an additional plywood shelf for the base that supports 500aH of LifePo4 batteries. The shelf above contains our inverters (2x Victron units) and the top shelf, controllers fuses and isolation switches. The final result is both neat and functional.Excellent value for money

Fits the purpose, quite heavy to place on wall
Sturdy and as advertised. Extra screws provided. For a Homelab is great. The wheels are rubber and metal core, also silent.

Not a 20U rack
I purchased the 20U rack. Turns out it’s not a 20U rack, it’s only an 18U rack. The manufacturer claims the top and bottom bracket positions as U spaces but they have fixed screw holes and not cage nut holes. You cannot fit a device in place of the top bracket as the top panel is in the way. You can’t mount a device in place of the bottom bracket as the side frame gets in the way. When I contacted the manufacturer, they claimed that it was possible to fit a patch panel in these spaces – 1. Who the he’ll wants a patch panel on the floor?! 2. Good luck trying the get a patch panel in the top space, the top panel gets in the way still. It’s labelled, advertised and sold falsely, simple as that.On the plus side, the rack is well made and can quite suitably accommodate 18 U’s of equipment. That’s the reason its got so many stars.
