Perfect fit with Ubiquity Cloud Fiber and USW Pro XG 8 poe switch. I got this to space these units out for air flow and temp control. This little rack is great for small spaces and solid. Paired with a set of their trays and includes all mounting hardware for 4 trays. Definitely a great option for the price!

This is about as basic as you can get for a rack, and that’s perfect! Assembly is straightforward but it does come with an instruction sheet. I couldn’t get it totally rigid with all of the screws in, but once equipment went it, it was very solid. It comes with spare screws and feet, so that’s nice. The 4u unit comes with mounting hardware w/ m6 cage nuts for 4 1u mounts.

This is an amazing little desktop 10″ networking rack! If you’ve standardized on that size… or if you’re looking to start, this is the way to do it. The 10″ form factor is quickly taking over the homelab scene, and it’s a great fit for 3D printing your own enclosures for switches, devices, whatever you can think of. I would say this makes a perfect “baby’s first mini rack”, because it’s not necessarily a permanent fixture, and it gives you a lot of flexibility. Because it’s so easy to assemble/disassemble, you could use it for temporary setups, changeovers, or any other time you find yourself needing additional rack space, even if you already have another 10″ rack. The possibilities are pretty endless!I’m enamored with the product design of this rack. It completely assembles (not including rack mounting equipment to it) in a manner of seconds with 6 screws. I could see this being really useful for someone who has a use case to spin up 10″ equipment quickly in the field. I have no idea who would ever have a need like that – but this product solved a problem that doesn’t exist just by being *so good* at ease of assembly. You really just rotate out the legs, screw those in, and then mount each side with 2 more screws a piece.I think any of these is a great value, but – for an obvious reason – the larger ones are a better value. I feel like the 6U is the sweet spot, 8U might be a bit *too* tall depending on what you’re trying to put in there. However, even the 4U I have has plenty of utility. I’m using it to hold all of our smart home equipment, in other words finally cleaning out the rats nest of Raspberry Pis and putting them into DAP MP-1 style enclosures. with better cable management. It’s exactly spot on for 10″ rack measurements, however this is a word of warning for the other end – some 10″ equipment is not properly sized for the racks. Most notably, I had this issue with patch panels, which for some reason were too tall and occluded the top/bottom screw hole of the below/above slot. Again, this is fully outside of the scope of this product; I’m just pointing this out so you know who else to point fingers at.The construction and build quality leaves nothing whatsoever to be desired. It feels rock solid just as the open frame, and as soon as you have panels in to “square” the top, it’s unshakable. The individual pieces are rigid, the pivot/folding mechanism for stowing the legs is easy to use, not too tight to turn, and has zero backlash when fully screwed in.The included cage nuts and screws are nothing to write home about, however when have cage nuts and screws ever been something to get excited about. They work, and honestly… it might have been luck, it might have been actually good quality, but this is the least trouble they’ve ever given me.
