Useful Short Extension Lead
Oh.. Some days when you are not paying proper attention to what you order.I panicked to beat a time limited order for something else and didnât read the size of the lead correctly.I did require a kettle style extension lead, but to reach across the room to I could have my Printer closer to the computer.Five meters would have been more than enough.Imagine my surprise when a ½ meter cable arrived.A bit miffed I checked my order and saw Iâd made a mistake.(Apparently according to my late wife this measuring things wrong is typical of me lol.)I love Serendipity, it turns out that the lead fits my guitar practice amplifiers power lead.Kind of important to me because I can have the amp nearer to me without having to stand up.I like that itâs orange so its easier to seeItâs very robust and looks like you donât have to be precious with it.I cannot remember what DIY or Garden power tools (if any) I have that use a kettle leadBut Iâd be happy using this lead if it were necessary.Itâs my own fault I got the wrong length, but for other lengths I would buy again because it feels professionally made.Best regards

Extends annoyingly short kettle lead.
Most kettles now are either ‘cordless’, lifting off a power base whose cable is fixed or have a fixed cable direct to the kettle. I have a small kettle that’s used in the garage at times where the lead is a ‘kettle’ lead, but of course is annoyingly short like they all tend to be. This little 50cm extension is ideal for the purpose and unlike in the photo, in use the join will be hidden. Could always have obtained a longer white kettle lead, which would have been preferable, but white ones are less available and have just kept tolerating the short one for several years!

50cm C13 to C14 extension lead
A 50cm white C13 to C14 extension lead. This cord can be used in kitchen for kettles and certain microwave, counter top ovens. This is also the type plug for computers, PCs, Servers, Switches, etc.I have a VCR this will be ideal as the 50cm length makes it possible to remove an almost 2m similar cable just to connect to power lead 30cm away.If your kettle cord is too short, plug plug and it will now reach the wall socket without moving the kettle. The cables behind telly are slated for a tidy up in this year’s Spring clean.

Good little cable
This is a good little extension power cable. It’s very well made and works perfectly. An interesting orange colour. Perfect to go behind that odd item in your kitchen that needs an extension. It’s not that long, so check the length before you buy.

Great for Tricky Access Areas
This mains extension lead by rhinocables is what was needed for my temporary office large screen monitor which, the way it is currently installed, makes it a bit tricky to access the power port at the back. The bright orange colour makes it easy to spot and the 50 cm length is just right for accessibility and easily tucked away when not in use.For a 50 cm short cable the advertised price is a bit on the high side so any promotional voucher would certainly help.

Decent extension cable for plug type
Cable is very good quality!Thickness matches our kettle lead, measurements are correct, it’s exactly 50cm long in total, connections are very good and secure.Looking at other uses besides kettles, it also matches our printer lead so that’s good as an extension lead. Also it is same lead as home computer pc power supply.

Quality cable!
The cable is very sturdy, with what would seem a nice thick outer layer, the connectors feel well made.I like the orange colour as I used it in a darkroom to power enlargers, and it is visible also in the red safelight. Would definitely buy again

Good Quality – Does What it Needs to do
There’s not a great deal you can say about this kind of product – it is a kettle (or IEC more formally) extension lead. It is well made, good quality, and both the male and female ports fit well. It’s a solid extension cable.
