Good unit, easy setup but be patient
Bought this to encourage teenage boys to venture outside ð, and also to use robot lawn mower without RTK aerial. Item came with everything needed to set up including a POE injector ( I didn’t use this as already have POE switch), mounting hardware and an ethernet cable. Set-up was easy but be patient. Initially we had a red light indicating connected but no internet, after a lot of head scratching and cable re-termination it was only when we took a break and left it alone that it turned green. It was then the same with connecting to the internet, time solved all the problems.The unit was mounted on a gate post at approx 1m height in a central location. At furthest point of our garden (approx 50m/167ft) we still have full signal strength. Robot is happy and connects well, boys are still to make the leap to the great outdoors!

Very good product, I managed to find a data cable that also charged the extender at the same time. It’s worked very well so far and has managed to throw the signal to the doorbell camera on my gate, which was too far from the house.

I then purchased the AX3000 to improve it even more.Having connected the devices. Both download and upload speeds have actually reduced. I contacted CUDY support , they could not offer any support and asked me several questions. To which I answeredâ¦.. Itâs connected via an Ethernet Cable. The one supplied is connected via :-LAN – WAN/LAN4 PortPOE – AX3000Iâve attached photographs of the information requested by CUDY via Email (NO REPLY)Iâm not entirely sure what you mean by âconfiguration in detail â . I attached a further photos from the CUDY APP on my phone for CUDY customer support.I trust this will assist in your assessment. NB: That was several days agoâ¦so far NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

Easy install and work great.Installed on back side of house and now I have Wi-Fi in outdoor kitchen and inside my shop. I had installed a different name brand and more expensive but had problems with extender and support. I sent that one back for refund. Get the Cudy and eliminate troubles.
