Might buy another one.
Husband here. I used this switch to control my immersion through a contactor. The switch controls the contactor so as to minimise the load on the switch. Working perfectly so far. No issues with the app or control options. No paywall for basic functions. I just need on/off, timer and timed boost. All easily done from the app. Will update review if I see any issues.

Well made Smart Spur unit
Looks to be a well made product, easy to fit and connected to WiFi straightaway. The unit came with 2 lengths of screw to fit it to the back box, giving plenty of versatility in fixing. Very pleased with it so far.

Great isolator smart switch but select your backing box carefully.
Works great, paired with Smart Life app straight away & reports power consumption which not all smart switches do.Fitted into a 25mm back box although deeper might be easier if you have a lot of wiring to accomodate.Dropping one star because it required the screwplate tabs on the backing box to be relieved (others have found this issue too).

Simple device that offers great flexibility.
The simple design of the device belies the variety of functionality it features (by using the SmartLife app). It is also compatible with the open-source Home Assistant system. Easy to install. I also like that if there’s a power cut, it picks up its schedule once the power/wifi are restored. The old manual clock timer was always behind in that regard. No fun waking up in the morning to no hot water!

Kept tripping itâs MCD.
Maybe I got a lemon, but for some reason it always tripped the MCD on our consumer unit when turning off via a schedule. Worked fine via the push button so no idea why that would work but schedules would not.
