Much better than expected
To be honest at the price was not expecting a high quality product, just wanted to extend my headphone from the tv for viewing at night when the wife was in bed. What i got was really good value the cord is durable and the sockets of a very high quality. In fact cord is so strong when the wife vacuum it up it cam out unscathed and still working. Sound quality is good i can notice no difference between using cord and plugging headphones straight into tv.I can highly recommend to anyone.

Quality cable
I found myself needing to replace my headphone extension cable because the connector end on the headphone side finally broke inside from too much bending. I knew when picking a replacement that I needed something good quality and durable because I’ll be using it for many hours a day…everyday. I bought the Primewire because it had good reviews and I liked the look of the cable thinking it would withstand my usage. I was concerned that it could be too heavy but for the price I thought I would give it a try. And it was worth it!!!! The 2 ends of the cable feel very sturdy and my headphone plug fits tightly with no wiggling. There is no audio signal loss which is also important for me. While the cable is heavier than my old thin cable it is not too heavy. I’m very happy with this purchase so far.

Review for female to male 3m extensionAs some other reviews mentioned, the male end doesnt click when plugged in. It hasnt fallen out (yet). The female end did give a positive click on mine.Im using this with a high impedance headset and the source signal is not amplified enough to properly drive this headset (ie I should expect problems because of the extra cable length). Surprisingly, it all sounded just fine and volume and quality wasnât affected that I could notice.Cable is thinner and more flexible than I was expecting, but this makes it lighter and easier to deal with â at the expense of resilience I guess.

Very pleased
I can’t say exactly why I chose this cable from all the others on Amazon, but I’m pleased I did. It’s connected to my tv and runs around the room at carpet level to behind the sofa. It’s flexible and feels well-made. I can’t comment on durability as I’ve only had it a few days, but the sound quality seems really good to me, especially as it’s 10 metres (I’d read that the longer the cable, the more chance of interference, but I wanted to keep it out of view so took a chance). It also turned up quickly. So, I would certainly recommend it.

I purchased this cable to plug into my TV, this will be used once a day, plugged in and unpluged. The quality of the cable look good. I have had cables in the past, at first they were great, but after a while they stopped working properly, you had to keep moving the cable to get a proper conection, they would keep cutting out. I hope these aren’t the same. Also it doesn’t state anything about a warranty in the description, that’s s bit worrying, it would be nice if they did. I will return with an update in a few months time.At the moment though as I said before, the quality looks very good!

Sturdy cable but loose connection in phone port
I’ve bought these cables from several different sellers on Amazon over the years and this 5m cable had the least durability compared to others; in spite of the sturdy structure. It had a looser connection in the mobile phone headphone port, which I found frustrating, as it was constantly detaching. After 3 months the connection became intermittent and by the fourth month I had to replace it.As with any brand of headphone cable, if you are using it on a daily basis and swapping between devices, be gentle with the gold end points which can bend slightly and eventually cause a loss of sound in one or both sides of the headphones.
