This HDMI switch works brilliantly for general use â it handles 4K at 60Hz with no loss in picture or sound quality, and switching between inputs is smooth and quick. The setup was very straightforward, and the remote control is a handy touch for swapping between devices without unplugging cables.The build feels sturdy and compact, fitting nicely into my setup. Itâs ideal for connecting multiple devices like streaming boxes, Blu-ray players, or secondary consoles.However, itâs worth noting that this isnât the best fit if you plan to game while connected through it â there can be a small delay. For everything else, though, itâs excellent value and works exactly as described.

Waste of time. It doesn’t work. It’s supposed to switch between 4 HDMi ports at the press of a button but it just stays on one. Useless rubbish.

I bought this HDMI switch somewhat by mistake, as I was actually looking for one with a remote, but saw that this was significantly cheaper and in my excitement, failed to realise it did not have one. I was prepared to return it immediately, but decided to try it out – and am quite impressed for it being £11. This was bought to replace a 3 port switch as I needed an additional port.Picture quality:As advertised, it correctly supports 4K resolution (3840 * 2160) at 60HZ in HDR – I was able to verify this using a PS5 and checking the output signal information, as well as a similar process on the Roku to confirm support for 4K60, 4K30, 1080p, 720p, 10-bit colour, YCC420, YCC444, and HDR at both 60 and 30FPS. In SDR, 4K RGB is also supported.Switching and control:This is what I was worried about – no remote surely meant I would need to continue walking to the back of the screen and pressing the button to cycle through every input. But suprisingly not, and this was the most impressive function of the device. When you turn on a device, it will automatically switch to that device. In my case, the Roku will be the default selection as it is always powered on. But then, if I turn on the PlayStation, it will automatically switch over. Turning off the PlayStation switches back to the Roku. In short, it will always switch to the newest signal. When a signal is lost, it will switch to whatever it can find. My primary use case will be switching between the Roku and a single console so this is perfect for me, and sufficient enough to go without a remote – especially when similar devices with a remote cost 2.5x more in some cases.If you do need to switch manually, it’s very easy, you just press the button on the device. Unlike my previous switch which could only cycle through the ports in order (1-2-3-1…) regardless if there is a signal, this one is smarter, and will only switch between ports with a signal. So if I have two devices on, pressing the button just changes between the two outputs. Additionally, in all cases, it switches very quickly.The downsides:Functionally, none. However, the build quality is very cheap, with the unit itself feeling very light and flimsy. Additionally, the HDMI cable from the switch to the TV is integrated – i.e., if it fails, you would have to replace the entire switch. These two points are not a huge deal especially for the price of the device, but it is something to consider in the long run.

Decent quality, simple design and works well.Iv had automatic HDMI switches in the past and they arenât very reliable, this manual switch is just so easy with the press of a large button and indicator lights.Would recommend to family and friends.
