Surprisingly Clear Sound in a Pocket-Sized Speaker

A feature packed Bluetooth rechargeable speaker that’s light and portable
This cylindrical Bluetooth speaker is a fairly compact size, small enough and light enough to carry around in your pack. The buttons are all on the top as is the Bluetooth/charging indicator light. The bottom lights up with LED coloured lights whilst playing but since it sits on the base it’s not very noticeable (although you can turn it upside down if you want more light effects). This speaker has a host of features, including true stereo if you have two speakers using TWS. It also has an FM radio that automatically searches for channels (you need to plug in an AUX cable first, which is supplied with the speaker, which I assume it uses as an aerial). It has a small USB slot, an AUX 3.5mm jack slot and a TF (Tiny Format) slot, all of which can be used to play back music in MP3 or WAV format. Overall though, what’s most important is the quality of sound. I found the sound good enough for casual use, playing music away from home or in the garden but the base response is a bit low for me. It’s a feature packed Bluetooth portable speaker that’s light and portable.

Really good clear deep sound
Really impressed with this speaker, I have been using it with my computer via Bluetooth and to listen to music and it’s so clear and deep not tinny at all. Really easy to use has 4 buttons on the top volume up and down, power and mode. It’s got a little carry loop if you want to take it out and the bottom lights up too. Really sturdy and well made definitely worth the price.

Really good sound!
Sounds really good for the price, its quite large, the bass is lovely it maybe too much for some people but for me it was perfect. You can charge via usb-c it was easy to setup AND you can also use a standard audio jack which i REALLY love! would recommend definately!

The sound quality is impressive for such a compact design, providing clear audio that fills the space nicely. I love how lightweight it is, making it easy to throw in my bag for travel. Cheap And Cheerful Bluetooth Speaker
Bluetooth Speaker, Portable Bluetooth Speaker, Mini Wireless Speaker Bluetooth 5.3 for Outdoor, Travel, Home This is a small version of the many similar looking speakers out there.. the ones covered with a sort of mesh material, cylindrical in shape etc etc.This one is made ok. It feels quite solid and certainly looks the part, small and chunky with a nice bit of weight to it.It only has a single speaker underneath the mesh covering so it has to be facing the right way to get the best out of it and it’s not stereo obviously.Sound-wise it’s not bad for what it is. There is a bit of bass too it and the rock songs I tested sounded pretty good overall but it didn’t handle higher volumes too well and did start to distort.But bear in mind it’s a cheap speaker so can’t compete with the big boys.You do get a few decent features for your money though. It’s rechargeable so wireless and fully portable (it even has a small built in lanyard for carrying); it’s Bluetooth, giving a quick, stable and solid connection (search for BT618 when pairing); it’s has a built in FM radio.. the radio needs a 3.5mm lead inserted in order to operate and thankfully one is included. Searching for radio stations was simple enough, as was jumping through them using the volume controls.It also has a USB port and a Micro SD port so you can load and play MP3 files through it as well, plus the 3.5mm AUX lead doubles up as not just the radio aerial but also allowing you to connect devices that don’t have Bluetooth.Finally there are the obligatory coloured LED lights. Strangely these are built in to the underside of the speaker so if you’re standing it on a flat surface you’ll barely even notice them. There’s no mention of the lights in the manual and try as I could I could find no way of turning them off. It also says they flash in time to music. They don’t. They just cycle through varying colours and there’s no way to adjust this.The advert shows the speaker about to be plunged in to water but there’s no mention if this is even waterproof.The charging port, SD card slot etc are all covered by a rubber flap that closes quite tightly so I would guess this may be splash proof at best and I wasn’t going to drop it in the bath to find out either way.Finally there’s a built in mic so you can deal with phone calls hands free but I haven’t tested this feature.At the time of review the listing doesn’t state a price but from memory I believe it was about £16.As such it’s definitely cheap and cheerful and the sound quality won’t blow you away but for the money it’s quite feature packed and handy to take out and about with you as it’s chunky but small.The speaker arrived boxed and included a manual, USB-C charging lead and a 3.5mm AUX lead.
