The instructions were not clear regarding the metal plate fitment. The back unit for the wiring goes through the metal plate first from the front of the plate. The rear of the plate has the “CE” and “RoHS” logo on the corner. Then do the wiring.When fixing to the back box, ensure the top edge of the metal plate is above the back box recess so the front glass plate can clip on properly.Only with the glass plate attached does it start flashing for the WiFi connection.Remember, if your WiFi name is shared for both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands then you need to switch off 5Ghz temporarily so this device can connect to 2.4Ghz. Once connected you should be able to turn 5Ghz back on and unit should still function.I use separate Wifi names for 2.4Ghz and 5 so was easier to connect.I used the Smart Life app. Whilst the leds on the unit were flashing rapidly, the Smart life app found the new device automatically. You can try adding it manually if it does not find it by itself.As my Smartlife app was already linked to my Alexa account, Alexa then found this device automatically too.I prefer to use the Alexa app for device automations such as turning this devices switch for a light to come on automatically at dusk and turn it off at specific time.

I started installing this switch at 6am thinking it would be a quick 10-minute job. Itรขยยs now almost 1pm and Iรขยยm exhausted. The wiring is straightforward, but the real problem starts when you try to put the glass panel back on. The touch function simply doesnรขยยt work once the glass is in place. You have to press directly on the bare sensor to get any response. The moment the glass is mounted, the switch becomes completely unresponsive.I tried everything: aligning the panel carefully, adding thin padding, adjusting the module position, even taping things behind the glass to improve contact. Nothing worked. Itรขยยs clearly a design flaw รขยย either the sensor is too weak, or the glass is too thick, or both.To make matters worse, thereรขยยs this little yellow capacitor youรขยยre supposed to install in the ceiling (?!), which is nearly impossible in modern houses with recessed lights and no ceiling access. And no, it doesnรขยยt help the touch issue รขยย itรขยยs just another part of this unnecessarily frustrating experience.In short:รขยย รฏยธย Looks nice, works terribly.รขยย รฏยธย Do not buy unless youรขยยre ready to spend hours problem-solving basic functionality.รขยย รฏยธย Avoid. There are much better smart switches out there.

Okay smart switch
Wasn’t easy to connect initially (have this in summer house about 20ft from main house) had to locate switch via smart app in summer house then walk down to main house to get stronger Internet connection on phone and it finally connected.We have virgin Internet with 5ghz and 2.4ghz activated in settings.App works great with timer settings for light.Would recommend this if you dont mind a bit of faff to set it up.BSEED could make things easier and make it 5ghz compatible though

Looks good, easy to install (although I did manage to mess up fitting the backing plate to start with!) and worked first time. Connected to the SmartLife app easily and has enabled us to dim the Living Room LEDs from the full power rather harsh light to something much more relaxing. Have already ordered some more for other rooms.

Macht was es soll fรยผr den Preis, Anschlรยผsse kรยถnnten etwas besser sein, da Kontakte blank. Auch bei einem defekt sind die Mitarbeiter sehr bemรยผht einen neuen zuzusenden oder eine Rรยผckerstattung zu veranlassen- ich hatte bis jetzt nie Verbindungsprobleme (2 Monate)- Die Optik beeindruckt meinen Besuchern immer wieder vom neuen- habe die schwarzen genommen, die schauen Mega aus

Ich habe schon mehrere Schalter von BSEED in meiner Wohnung verbaut und bis jetzt war immer zufrieden. Das ist hier mein erster Schalter mit Kondensator weil ich bei diesem Licht weder neutral Leiter habe noch ohne einen groรยen Aufwand einen Leitung verlegen kann. Ich habe den Schalter im Flur verbaut und auch gleich bei einer Lampe den Kondensator angeschlossen ich mรยถchte bemerken das ich im Flur zwei Lampen habe. Den Schalter konnte ich mittels App gleich in mein WLAN einrichten auch die Verbindung mit Alexa kein Problem. Des weiteren habe ich eine Routine erstellt dass beim รยffnen mit Nuki das Flurlicht angeht. Auch die Abdeckung aus Glas schaut sehr hochwertig aus und er wird auch nicht warm. Wer jemand seine Schalter umrรยผsten will und keine neutrale Leiter zur Verfรยผgung hat ist dieses eine einfache Mรยถglichkeit seine Wohnung etwas Smarter zu machen. Von mir gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Eine Anmerkung zum Schluss wenn man Schalter wechselt muss man auf jeden Fall den Anschluss stromlos machen, solltet ihr unsicher sein zieht einen Elektriker zu.

Ich baue die Schalterserie seit Jahren mit den Artikeln von BSEED aus und bin absolut zufrieden. Die Qualitรยคt ist top und auch nach Jahren sieht die Schalterserie aus wie neu. Ich hatte bisher noch keine defekte Steckdosen, Schalter usw. Allerdings sollte man Ahnung haben wenn man die Schalter mit WLAN Funktion verbaut, da diese auch einen Neutralleiter (N) benรยถtigen. Oftmals liegen diese allerdings nicht in den Schalterunterputzdosen bereit und man muss diese von den Steckdosen “ziehen” Auch haben diese Schalter keine Klemmvorrichtung und mรยผssen in die Unterputzdosen verschraubt werden.
