Travel Sickness Hack

This is a must have for long car journeys with kids. We drove to the south of France with three little ones and were able to break the journey up with some screen time! The bar is very strong with a clever design. The hooks of the chairs are also handy to hold toys. So easy to set up and reasonably priced.

Ideal for back seat viewers
I saw this product on YouTube. I thought it would be ideal as I often have three children that sat in the back of my car arguing over iPads.It positions well in between the seats. The only issue I found was that my passenger and driver seats sit at different levels so the pole does look wonky but that is the fault of the manufacturer.It holds an iPad mini and an iPad 10 perfectly well. The fit is perfect.It was super easy to install. The only thing I would say is it does sometimes come loose if you go over a big speed bump.

The proof will be in the pudding on tomorrowâs road trip, but for now this seems to be a sturdy piece of kit.Super simple to set up. Iâm the driver, and front passenger seat is just slightly further back but the angling joint where device goes means even a further separation would still mean any device could be âcentredâ.The iPad isnât swinging and feels really secure.The iPad isnât a mini, and you can see my rear view isnât obscured at all. That was a concern, but all good. RelievedThe two separate coat hooks that are supplieddo sit a little loose around the head rests, and the hooks arenât deep enough to hold the kidsâ headphones, but thatâs alright – the hooks are a bonus and not the main purchase.I would say I think itâs pricey for what it is, but Iâll be damned if I can find a cheaper centre-viewing option anywhere else.If youâre in need of a sturdy bit of kit to keep back seat passengers able to view one screen, this is a really good option⦠so far.

Sturdy
I probably wonât ever use it to attach a phone or tablet but Iâm sure it would work well for that as the clamp seems sturdy and strong. I use it to stop the dog getting between the front seats and it does that job really well. Itâs very easy to install (and remove) and seems really well made.

Really good product with one minor flaw.It’s incredibly stable and once locked into position it is rock solid. Very easy to install and use. The only “flaw” it has would be that the two seats need to be set to a very similar height. Otherwise it simply won’t work. This is fairly minor though in my particular case. Just something to think of if your front seats are set to vastly different heights.
