they work brilliantly. Only giving 4 stars as I thought they were kinetic, but thats my fault not theirs!The reciever is small, so easily placed somewhere descrete, or passed through a spotlight hole in the ceillingthe Switch uses a battery, and is very responsive

Sounds like a great idea, in reality rubbish
Wired the three way switch up with the 3 modules and it worked perfectly. A few days later switching was intermittent. A few days after that I was having to press multiple times to get it to operate. Then one of the units stopped working all together. The ridiculous thing is the signal has to travel 5m max indoors with no walls on the way and still doesn’t work properly. Waste of time and money

Works well and is so much easier than wiring in a conventional light switch. Just secure it where you want it in the most convenient position.

Easy install
Easy installfor an electrician and great option in a finished house for something like installing switched outdoor lighting or bedside switches.Only negative for me is that the receiver won’t fit within a pendant cover so if you don’t have a neutral at the switch and you have no option but to place it at the light then it’s a bit bulky to cut a hole and still get fixings. Although, for what I needed it was perfect, I done my connections in the attic, within a JB , labelled.Good idea to email/text client the instructions for pairing just for later reference.

Good for one off job but not for Extensive use
Got 27 of these (mixture of 1g / 2G / 3G) to see if they could be used in a full rewire that couldn’t be done with cables without destroying decor.They do work and are easy enough to pair.The 2 main issues I had with them were:1) With using so many the frequencies were crossing over to each other. i.e. The bathroom switch would turn on the kitchen light. Re-paired the kitchen light to stop this and found the kitchen light now turned on the bedroom light, etc, etc, etc, etc, (this took several hours to sort out especially as the transmitters were in hard to reach places)2) The receivers are pretty large and won’t fit in most light fittings. They also don’t fit in circular dry line boxes planted into the ceiling above the light fittings.3) The switches have quite flexible bases and when screwed down any buckling whatsoever (due to uneven surface etc) makes the switching mechanism stick.4) Two of the batteries ran out within a week!?Overview:- With a 50M distance I would be concerned if these were to be used widespread in houses that one house would be switching another house’s lights off.- A mechanism for selecting frequencies would be beneficial (otherwise if you are using lots of these set them up together on a bench first!)- A more ridged back would be good. For the life of me I can’t understand why the technology hasn’t been installed into a regular toggle type switch like the kind that every house already have. More robust and would fit in better.- A smaller receiver ideally, or failing that they could come in an exclosure that can slot into the ceiling above a light fitting. As they are I would suggest putting them all together in a “locker” in a cupboard and branching each one off to each room…If you want to turn on the shed light from the kitchen these are fine. If you want to use them extensively I would reconsider
