Replacing an old friend
I’ve been happily using a Plantronics Explorer 50 headset since 2017. Sadly a replacement had to be found, at a reasonable price. First I had to find a headset that didn’t enter the ear canal as I cannot cope with that type. That greatly limited my options, but the EUQQ was immediately a strong contender. With positive reviews and the hugely reduced price of £15 it was the obvious final choice.On first inspection I was delighted with the style and quality of both the headset and it’s power case. It is as light as the Plantronics and feels very comfortable on my ear. The speaker has a soft directional cover that points the sound to the canal but it doesn’t enter and block the canal. The speaker cover has a soft loop that helps keep it snugly in position within the ear cup. The loop that goes over the ear is soft, flexible, and very comfortable. Worth noting that the Plantronics over ear loop was inflexible and could become a little uncomfortable after a while. There was no problems connecting via Bluetooth to my phone, and so far the connection has remained solid.Making my first call confirmed I had made a good choice. The voice clarity and volume was perfect. As with the old Plantronics I have the volume just two click below maximum, but I’m in my 70’s so I may well be using it with more volume than most would require. All the options I’m used to are available. Answer, hang up, redial, mute and volume are all easy to access via the positive feel of the action buttons. Activating the Google Assistant via a long press of the power button, (release when a ping is heard) works perfectly every time. Was too easy to turn off the old Panasonics using this option.Listening to an audiobook is a joy via this headset. Having listened continuously for well over an hour I must say the EUQQ is incredibly comfortable as I actually didn’t feel I had a device attached to my ear. Pause and play worked perfectly.On arrival at midday the battery was 70% full. Having it on stand-by, making and receiving a few rather long chat phone calls, and a total of at least 3 hours audiobook listening, the battery was still over 50% at the end of the first day.Charging is via a USB C cable that can be plugged direct into the headset, or by placing it into the power case, which also has a USB C socket. The headset immediately turns on and connects to my phone when removed from the power case. Having the option to give the headset a power boost in the case while out and about is a bonus I didn’t have with the Plantronics.It’s early days, but so far I am delighted with the value, build quality, comfort, and options of the EUQQ.

Great battery life and easy to use.
This is a great little headset, very easy to use and comfortable to wear. The sound is good quality and connects well. The case is really useful and holds battery exceptionally well. The only thing I don’t like is the over ear bit is rubber so it can be a bit fiddly to put on compared to my last one which was hard plastic.

Better than I expected
I really like this headset. Comfortable to wear. I have used it almost all day using it to make and receive calls as well as watching YouTube and listening to music. This is an added bonus for me that you can listen to audio as well as use it for calls. Sound quality is good. Have had no complaints about sound quality when I have used it on calls with people. Battery life is fantastic. I used it all day for calls and watching YouTube and had 60% battery left. I like the fact that it comes with a case that also recharges the headset. Used it quite a lot this week and still have 93% charge on the case. Very good headset and great value for money in my opinion.

Pleasantly Surprised
After loosing my Jabra blue tooth headset, I was looking for a decent replacement at a reasonable price. Found this one and bought after quite a bit of review reading. Came quickly as you would expect. Early days yet and used only as a test call so far, but enough to say call quality was good – for me listening to the other caller and for her listening to me. The ear piece is lightweight and unobtrusive and fits quickly around the ear, sitting snugly. Those have to be the key performance issues for this item. Guess the following is added value that is the icing on the cake. Liked the idea of a case. Neat and keeps the headset protected. Like also that it shows the battery charge level as you open up the case. Even better is that as the ear piece is lifted out, itpowers up and starts the connection to the phone. So far, great bit of kit and well designed. Hope it lasts.

I’ve tried probably 20 different open ear earbuds; from Bose Sport to cheap no names. I fell in love with 1 pair of no names, “1st pair” but they’re no longer available.Ok so, here’s my day:• Morning: wake up, put on 1st pair of earbuds and turn on Audible.• Afternoon: throw 1st pair on charger, put on 2nd (ever changing because they are never as good as “1st pair”) pair, continue with Audible.• Night: throw 2nd pair of earbuds on charger, put on regular headphones and go to sleep.My “1st pair” are absolutely perfect, comfortable, long battery, great sound. I’ve been on the search for the “2nd pair” to match the quality. Well, these are identical in every way. So much so that I’m considering dabbing a dot of nail polish to tell the difference.

Finally I found a headset that doesn’t make my ears hurt! I’ve tried a lot of in-ear headphones that made my ears feel uncomfortable and painful after wearing them for a long time, and I’ve been wearing these over-ears for almost 2 hours without any pain!

The battery life is remarkable. I haven’t run out yet, and the clarity of the charging % on the front of the case is amazing to have.
