The Panda Tactile Switch is made from the original INVYR Panda tooling. This iconic switch mold gives Glorious Pandas a strong tactile bump at the start of their downstroke. The materials create a buttery smooth post-bump travel that finishes with an addictive โ€œthockโ€ sound.
Legendary Tactile Feel: Forged from a particular mold highly regarded by keyboard enthusiasts, Glorious Panda switches feature a rounded tactile bump when pressed that feels uniquely snappy and responsive; This satisfying haptic feedback makes them perfect for both work and play
Top-Tier Acoustics: Panda’s premium materials and tight build tolerances produce a rich, full typing sound that’s free of pinging or scratchiness right out of the box; Their medium noise level makes them suitable for use at home or in a shared space
Universal Compatibility: Panda switches have a 3-pin, MX-style design; This means they fit virtually all hotswap mechanical keyboards without the need for modification; Their cross-shaped (+) accept all compatible keycap sets from Glorious and more; An LED cutout allows RGB lighting to freely pass through on backlit keyboards for peak brightness
Switch Metrics: A 67-gram internal spring gives Pandas a medium press resistance to soften each stroke without compromising speed; Actuation Distance: 2;52 mm; Actuation Force: 49 gf; Bottom Out Distance: 3;25 mm; Bottom Out Force: 60 gf; Each metric accounts for a slight variance due to manufacturing
Lubricated Version: This version features a thin coating of lubrication professionally applied to the switch’s internal components that make each press feel extra buttery and sound just as smooth right out of the box

Customers say

Customers find these keyboard switches to be of good quality and appreciate their tactile response, describing them as smooth to use. However, the pin quality receives mixed feedback, with one customer noting that they are very delicate.

    A few issues
For the most part these switches are quite decent. Despite what a lot of reviewers have said about the lubing inconsistency I will admit I do not really notice a difference. I can tell of course that there are some minor differences from switch to switch but it doesn’t bother me at all. They sound really nice to type on with a great tactile response and they all sound great. The issue I have is with the pins. Coming from the factory pins should not be as bent as these ones are. A few of them were horizontal! To me, these switches err on the ‘premium’ side and the quality control on these things should be a lot better. The product description says that only the best materials are used, but these pins are weaker than the Kailh Brown and Cherry MX Brown pins that I own.Trying to align the pins with the PCB myself, seeing they are disjointed, I managed to bend 4 of the pins in 2 packs to the point there was no salvaging on the original housing. I had to make a Frankenswitch using Cherry MX Browns for the bottom housing (surprisingly it worked out quite nicely – I’m calling them the Brown Panda).Would I buy these pre-lubed switches again? I don’t really know what the market is like out there for switches so take this as it is: I would say these are decent switches and I would buy them again now that I know what I am getting. I would probably keep some additional MX Brown switches on the side to make Brown Pandas if the pins turn up in the state they were in last time.

    State of the art
The Glorious Panda switch is truly a state of the art experience, but only IF you are:– Lubing them correctly.– Fitting them to a good quality keyboard.– Using a decent set of keycaps. If you are, then you will love them. If not, then you could be in for a tricky time.I’m knocking a star off because I tend to see quite a high failure rate with them. Out of 35 pieces I will often see at least 1 or two going in the bin or broken for spares. The pins are very delicate and if they get compacted in insertion you have pretty much had it with that switch.But.. all that said, they are pretty much unquestionably, the nicest and snappiest tactile switch out there and are very hard to beat.

    Great initially
Over time a few switches seem to be not reading properly gets real annoying fast. They come with extra if you have a 60% so not too bad.

    A bit overhyped but solid
After reading rave reviews of Glorious Pandas being almost as good as the Holy Pandas I’ve decided to give them a shot. Switches are great but not really what I’ve expected from a tactile switch. They have a very smooth and round tactile actuation compared to other tactiles with a sharp actuation. Maybe it’s just something that you get used to over time. springs could be slightly heavier maybe 65-70g. But I think that the biggest downside is that fact that they absolutely need lubing, process that took me maybe 3-4 hours. I usually avoid unlubed switches and probably will continue to do so. But overall a good tactile switch although not my favorite and unless you want nice RGB, I would probably go with Akko Jelly Purple with much stronger tactilty, and also coming pre-lubed.

Amazing feeling if you like tactility. As in the title, these switches are insanely tactile, moreso than blues. If you press down on a couple keycaps, they’ll spring back with an astonishing amount of force. If you plan to lube them, I’d highly recommend lubing the stem legs on at least 4 switches and then testing them out together (1 switch is not enough for a good test) to see if you like the legs lubed or not. Sound is great – they give my spacebar a very “poppy” sound, which I do like. Not the most low pitch or thocc-y switches (MX Browns were more thocc-y), but the feeling more than makes up for that, and feeling is more important than sound anyway.I installed these in a Drop ALT and really had to push to get them in. The general advice is that it shouldn’t take much force to install switches (and if it does, you’re probably going to bend a in), but you might have to make an exception for these switches. The lower housing has protrusions that are slightly longer than those of MX Browns. There’s no problem with getting it directly into the PCB, but you really have to push it through the keyboard case to get into the PCB. If you experience this issue, you shouldn’t have to worry about bending pins if they’re already straight and you align them properly – I didn’t have any bent pins (besides the 3 out of 72 that came bent) out of the 67 switches I used. Word of advice to help you preserve your thumbs – first push on the south side gently so that the south protrusion fits in, then push down hard on both corners of the north side simultaneously to get the entire switch in. Quite a lot of effort, but I think it’s worth it in the end.

They sound and feel great! For many years I have always been a clicky switch guy, I wanted to hear that audible click with each keystroke. Over time though as my son’s got older and it was always loud in the room or I was wearing headphones I couldn’t hear it half the time anyway.I decided it would be better to feel the click. I tried a host of different tactile switches on the cheaper side to save a little money. After watching many reviews I decided I would get a set of the Glorious Pandas and then everything changed. As of now I have purchased 5 sets to cover my two primary keyboards and will probably buy two more in the near future to update my 3rd system’s keyboard. While they will sound different in different boards the feel is similar regardless. I’m not a heavy typist so while they sound great when they bottom out I don’t get that all the time what I do get though is the feel of the tactile bump and that is the satisfaction I wanted. It’s my favorite hands down. Yes over time as this industry continues to evolve maybe I’ll find something else but right now I just get the odd looks from the family as to why I have tons of switches in the closet I tested and removed for the Pandas.Highly recommend if you are looking for a tactile switch that feels great for typing and gaming that simply sound fantastic in most boards.
