Convenient Control, great value for money
These have been an excellent addition to my smart home setup. Priced very reasonably, it offers great value without skimping on functionality. The installation process was a breeze, and getting it to operate with both Google Home and Alexa was straightforward, making it accessible even for those who might not be tech-savvy.Its remote operation capability is a standout feature. I used it for my Christmas lights this year and was able to turn them on and off while on holiday 2,000 miles away, adding both convenience and a layer of security to my home. The ability to program the plug for different times 7 days a week is incredibly useful, allowing for a fully customized schedule to suit any needs.Whether you’re looking to make your home smarter, manage energy use more efficiently, or just enjoy the convenience of controlling your devices from anywhere it does the job. It’s a great product that delivers on its promises, making it a smart buy for anyone looking to dive into home automation.

Smart plug
They worked until I change my network provider now they will not connect absolutely useless piece of junk Will not connect to the new Wi-Fi been trying to connect this plug for over two hours. No success I suppose you get what you pay forUpdate I establish why I was having problems in connecting these plugs. Again I have McCarthy Internet security on my phone. For some reason. It was stopping the plugs from connecting deactivated McCarthy and connected with no issues so that was the problem with McCarthy Internet security so I take back the first review these plugs are excellent.

Works well with the Smart Life app
Can’t say what it’s like on any other app but I use them on Smart Life. They hooked up straight away for me following the instructions. Seem to work fine for me, I mostly use the timer setting. I also haven’t used them with Alexa so can’t say how well it works but I do have the option to add them to my Alexa home.I’d recommend.

GNCC smart plugs
Hit and miss, my wifi is set to 2.4 ghzYet I still haven’t got them to work, been on YouTube, read the instructions, tried on alexa and still nothing, piece of junk, tried on smart life app, tried on osaio app. What else can I do – bt says router can handle 100 and more so don’t know what else to do ? Apart from chuck them in the bin.

Not easy to set up initially.
Took a while to set up. Downloaded the App. Made sure my WiFi was only running on 2.4Ghz by disabling 5. Tried multiple time to connect while it was flashing fast. Switched to AP mode and connected directly to the devices with my phone, this worked. Then it was easy to set it up with Alexa.

Works great
The product functions excellently and matches its description. It’s recommended to separate your WiFi bands into distinct 2.4GHz and 5GHz channels, yet setting them up with a unified network does work, provided you utilise AP mode during set-up (indicated by a slow blink).Setting up is straightforward and quick, and it integrates seamlessly with my Google Home. Also great value for money.

Simple
Very easy to set up on smart life app, using ap mode (slow blink) even though I have dual band WiFi from Plusnet. It automatically connected to Alexa without me having to do anything. Also easy to change the name. Can unplug and replug elsewhere without losing connection. Just follow the instructions, it is easy. Very pleased, cheap to buy too only £10.99 for 2

A pain to set up!
A real hit and miss process for setting up, BUT once you have they work fine.
