The Original Stereophone
For some, music is a nice distraction. A thing to tap your toes to. For us, music isn’t a thing; it’s a place we go. We are the true believers.
Koss has been bringing people closer to the music they love for more than 50 years. The first Stereophone (SP/3) in the world was created by John C. Koss and Martin Lange in 1958 and since then, Koss’ innovative products have gone from strength to strength with a range now including Full Size Stereophones, On-Ear Stereophones, In-Ear Stereophones, Ear-Clip Stereophones, Wireless Stereophones and Communication Headsets. Now, more than 50 years later….Koss’ creation has become a $2 billion industry, worldwide.
Three principles serve as the foundation for the company’s success: The sound of Koss; focus on fit and breakthrough customer service. What do these principles mean?
The sound of Koss: Musician, John C. Koss created “the sound of Koss” in 1958 and we have stayed true to it to this every day. The sound of Koss brings music back to life. Koss engineers are rigorous in their pursuit of the absolute best sound but it is the human listening experience that sets Koss apart.
10-20,000 Hz Straight, Dual Entry, 4ft 16 ohms 112 dB SPL/1mW Limited Lifetime Warranty

The Koss Plug revolutionised the world of in-ear headphones. A first of its kind, these are stereo, noise isolating in-ear headphones that deliver the kind of accurate acoustical reproduction and isolation typically found in high-end, closed-style high fidelity headphones.
A dynamic element positioned just outside the ear connects to a tubular port structure that inserts into a soft, expandable cushion. The soft, foam expands for a custom comfort fit with every listening experience. It also improves isolation, plugging out ambient sounds and enhances deep bass and treble clarity. In addition, there are four additional soft foam ear cushions included in the box.

The straight, dual-entry 4 foot cord will allow you extensive freedom of movement to ensure that you can position the headphones for optimum listening, making them ideal for workouts, gaming and more and the lightweight design enables you to comfortably carry them safely around your neck or in your bag wherever you go.
Featuring a super sensitive frequency range of 10 – 20000Hz, a sensitivity of 112 dB and an impedance of 16 Ohms, these Koss Plug Headphones guarantee you a high-quality audio experience that will leave you anything but disappointed!
This is all backed up by the Koss Stereophones Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Good bass
This is the third pair of these Koss earphones that Iâve owned over a number of years. They are a really good overall sound with excellent bottom end. Sturdy and comfortable to wear. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect for me
I wanted some earphones that I could wear when riding my motorcycle. I had tried quite a few and all had their issues. I have to say these are pretty much perfect. The sound quality is good, I can turn my iphone volume down to 30% and still hear good sound at motorway speeds. This results in precious battery life savings. They go right into your ears and expand to fit, just like earplugs I would normally wear under my helmet to reduce wind noise, this means they stay in place when you put your helmet on and stay in place when you are doing pretty much anything. Finally, they cost a tenner…unbelievably good value.A couple of minor negativesThe expandable foam does not last forever, and to keep a snug fit, the foam buds need replacing every few months (I wear them daily) One set of replacement buds is provided. As with a lot of cheap headphones, the wire connections are a bit flimsy, and one set has failed where the wire joins the jackplug, but the vendor agreed to replace them with no arguments.*** Update to this review April 2013 *** The cable has failed again at the same point, where it joins the 3.5mm jack. This is obviously a design flaw.

Good headphones…BUT!
I’ve owned four or five pairs of these headphones and I swore I would never buy any others. I find them incredibly comfortable and for the price, the sound is excellent. The problem is that Koss have recently changed the design of the jack and the cable is a bit flimsy. The last two pairs I have owned have stopped working in one ear after about 6 months. I have realy taken care of them, even unplugging them when i’m not using my ipod, so they don’t get kinked near the jack. It’s a real shame but I won’t be buying them again.

The PLugs
These are my third or fourth set of “Plugs”, and I still can’t see me buying anything else for commuting with. The Good points: Light, cheap and superb for rock music, you just need bass boost as they have the best treble response around! Classical and spoken are both nice and smooth. I’m lucky enough to have the right shape ears for them, and I’ve never had a problem with them falling out. The main plus point here is that with the right shaped ears, these really do shut out all extraneous sounds. The bad points are the cable and connector. I’ve had these with both the straight and right angle connector, and neither are as durable as I’d like, usually lasting 9-12 months. The other thing I find really annoying is the feel of the cable. Originally is was silky smooth, but recent cables have been relatively sticky. Who care’s, I hear you ask? The cable sticks to your clothes, and mine keep pulling the plugs out of my ears!In all, though, these sound so good I won’t give them up. They make commuting in London almost bearable.

Brilliant headphones – with a little know-how
These headphones are great for casual listening of music. However, they produce a VERY different sound to what you will be used to with regular headphones of this price band. Basically, they need a little EQ to sound amazing, but work well without.Being a sound engineer, I need headphones that can produce a wide range of sound, from low end to tops. The good thing about these headphones is they do have the capability to produce that range, but you need to coax it out of them a bit, otherwise it sounds very muddy. Personally, for the main equipment I use this with, I needed to boost 40Hz a considerable amount, and also add some of the vocal ranges back in, between 2k and 7k.This produces the best sound I have ever heard out of headphones at this price, and I would say these are worth far and away more than what you pay for them.

Problems after two months
Only had them for two months, and the sound has become unbalanced – left channel is noticeably louder than the right one. The foam bits are pretty poor quality as well, and the sound isolation is underwhelming. Cheap, but still not worth it.

For The Price Not Bad
I ordered Koss ear phones on March 20th. I received them on the 23rd so this is a pro for a speedy delivery. For such a small item I think the packaging should be a lot less than what it was. I go through ear phones a lot as I dont want to spend a lot of money I usually get them at car boot sales, the ones Ive bought from car boots have lasted longer than the ones purchased from shops. The best ear phones I bought from a car boot was Sennheiser CX300 11 The man gave them to me for 3.oo when I looked online to see how much they cost I was happy. After buying a pair of Sennheiser In November from Argos we are now in March they stopped working what is wrong with electronics these days. I read about Koss on Amazon for the price I decided to buy a pair. For the price not bad they are good for drowning out noise, depending on how songs have been put onto a device Cd/Wav/Mp3 will enhance the quality. I listen to a lot of instrumental music so for me they have a crisp clear sound without no muffled interference. Not bad for the price, they are 10 times better than the ones I purchased a while back on groupon called corgi they were awful. Furthermore thanks to those who leave reviews if it wasnt for them I wouldnt have known about this product.

Good quality to price
My wife has been using these now for about 8 years (maybe more) They used to come with a lifetime warranty and we made use of that about 4 times because after a while one or the other plugs stops working – probably because my wife sleeps with them in and when moving around probably tugs the wires too hard. After a while Koss started charging postage ( about £6 or £7) so its quicker to just buy new ones every year or two. They are clear and give good sound isolation. I tried to use them for normal daytime use but they fall out of my ears (as do other in ear plugs)

Looks cheap, feels cheap and is cheaply made which is a bit sad. Sounds absolutely awesome. I do routinely listen to my etymotics, shure, sennheiser hd580 and Beyerdynamics 1990pro. So … I would like think I know a bit about the listening experience.Positives:- Superb listening experience once you achieve a proper fit- I believe I read somewhere that these are extremely well tuned drivers and I would concur 100%Negatives:- Terrible fit. The buds are weak and lose their elasticity and plasticity very soon.- Cheap to look and and very cheap build qualityImprovements: I made some improvements to its fit and post that, its audio quality dramtically improved. The audio quality of any audio bud is hugely dependent on the fit and seal that its buds can achieve and its no different for this. Use a custom mold, I used decibullz, but really you can use one from radians or just about any custom mold you can lay your hands on. Use the foam plugs from the medical stores to build your own buds. Just drill and hole into those foam medical plugs and fit them into your Koss. Add your custom molds on top of the foam tips to achieve a nice seal. NEVER EVER use the custom mold directly as they block the sound completely and have less optimal acoustic quality to your music. A foam tip is one of the best ways to add dimensions to your music. Once you are past that … these drives give you an auditory experience on a level that is par with the best and most expensive out there. It needs some work .. but worth it.

Excelentes auriculares si le das importancia a los bajos (Yo escucho Rap, Hip Hop, etc), he probado SoundMagic, Sennheiser mas caros con buenos bajos, y estos son mejores de largo. Recomendados.
