Sleek Switch That Steps Up Your Space
I recently swapped out an old toggle switch for this screwless LIDER light switch in my hallway, and itรขยยs made a more noticeable difference than I expected. The clean, modern look fits so much better with the rest of the dรยฉcorรขยยitรขยยs subtle but feels expensive.This 1-gang switch works in either 1-way or 2-way circuits, which was handy because my setup in the hall needed a 2-way switch (i.e. able to be controlled from two different points). Installation was straightforward for anyone with average wiring knowledge, and once mounted, the flat, screwless faceplate gives a neat, flush finish. The mechanism feels solidรขยยno wobble or loose movement when flicking it on or off.What I like:Modern, clean look: The screwless design makes the switch plate disappear into the wall more elegantly than standard switches.Flexibility: Because it supports both 1-way and 2-way circuits, it works well for hallways or stairs where you may need two switches controlling the same light.Quality feel: Firm click, no rattling, and a durable surface that resists fingerprints better than cheaper gloss switch plates.Enhanced finish: Goes well with modern fixtures, minimalist decor, or anywhere you want less visual clutter on the walls.Heads-Up / Cautions:Fitting requires care: because the faceplate is screwless, edge alignment mattersรขยยif itรขยยs not perfectly square, the flat finish can look slightly off.Surface finish may show smudges more than matte styles; youรขยยll want to wipe it down occasionally to keep that clean look.Cost vs standard switches is higher, so unless the aesthetic matters to you (it does!), it might feel like extra spendรขยยbut for me the upgrade feels justified.Best For: Anyone wanting a visual upgrade in their home-interiors with minimal fuss: hallways, living rooms, or anywhere the light switch is very visible. Nice switch but Earth screw/clamp missing?
This is a nice light switch. It has a good on/off action and the use of pattress box screws that are hidden by the switches white faceplate means that it has a clean minimalistic appearance.The included wiring instructions are clear and comprehensive. However they refer to an Earthing clamp/screw attached to the switches internal metal faceplate (see photo). This did not exist on my switch. In essence this is not a big problem as once the plastic faceplate/cover is clipped on, then no metal parts are exposed as the fixings screws are hidden. However if it is referenced in the installation instructions then I feel it should be supplied.In conclusion it appears to be a good quality switch although a little bit more expensive than traditional white switches without a screw cover.It would have been a 5 star switch if the Earthing screw/clamp has been provided, thus 4 stars.

A high quality product with no visible fixing screws
This is a high quality electrical switch for one or two-way use. There are no viewable fixing screws as they are located behind a removable face plate which unclips and clips easily using a bladed screwdriver. This is done by prising up the two bottom holes. The re-fitting is done by first clipping the top on and then the bottom.There is a quality metal plate behind the front plate with fixing holes to mount the switch to the pattress box. It is unusual to have a metal plate as switches are usually made mostly of plastic so adds to the strength and quality of the product. Fixing screws are supplied.The terminals are of a good size for the usual conductors that you would fit but there is no earth terminal as presumably deemed to be not required as no metal screws are touchable from the front. The switch action is good and easy to use. The instructions are very good with nice wiring diagrams to help you install the switch. The value is good and I highly recommend this product.

Sleek finish
This is an easy to install switch for your wall, with a sleek finish due to the screws not being visible. It’s strange how you don’t actually take much notice of the screws on your light’s faceplates until there aren’t any and it give a much nicer look.This says “screwless” – there are screws, but they’re hidden inside. The rounded edges and the glossy finish are additional details which makes this look so nice.The switch is easy to fit and should replace any normal wiring like-for-like. You don’t need an Earth either as the plate is double insulated and has heat resistant thermoplastic.This one is a single paddle, (they do different variations of paddles), but it can also cope with 2-way lighting – like if you’ve got a light up the stairs that runs off more than one switch, (1 upstairs, 1 downstairs etc).I’m really pleased with this. It works well, looks good, easy to install and does everything it’s supposed to do.For รยฃ6.99, (at time of order), I think it’s great value and I’d happily buy further ones to replace all of the other switches we have. Recommended.

Functional, discreet, modern look. Easy to fit. Missing an earthing clamp.
I’m impressed by this, except that a part seemed to be missing.It doesn’t look beautiful, but is discreet and unobtrusive. It is very easy to fit, with clear instructions.I would have given it four stars as generally it feels high quality, however mine seemed to be missing a clamp for the earth wire, so I had to bodge, which isn’t that safe.

Easy to fit, giving a neat, modern look. I did have a problem at first, separating the front plate from the rest, but then I read the instructions! (you need to insert a screwdriver into slots at the bottom).

Good looking light switch supplied with two fixing screws.Very easy to fit just a case of matching the wires to the existing switch.Look very clean when fitted with the screws being hidden.
