Perfect!
I bought these smart plugs with my living room lamp in mind as it was a difficult switch to get to. Now I can easily turn it on and off from my phone! Pairing it with my phone was super easy and it uses the smart life app which all my other smart devices are linked to. It also is compatible with Google Home. I was worried that it would not work with this lamp as there is an additional on/off button on the lamp itself but it worked just fine. The feedback is instant and it turns on immediately upon pressing the button. You can also see how much power each switch has used in its lifetime and you can set up routines and schedules for turning the plugs on/off. Its brilliant for if you tend to forget to turn things off like i do, i can see on my phone that I’ve turned the iron off etc. so no more worrying about it. Super easy and convenient, just make sure you have a 2.4ghz wifi network available. Highly recommended.

Super easy to setup with the App
Bought them on a Black Friday deal so the price was very good for a pack of 4.It’s very easy to setup with the Tuya Smart App, and the Alexa app finds them straight away and adds them to your existing system for you.It’s early days so I can’t comment on reliability, but they are good build quality compared to others I’ve used, they are quite small, so fit easily between plugs in an extension lead, and the blue power light is a nice touch so you can tell when it’s on and off.I’d recommend them to anyone using them on an Alexa based system, or a Tuya based system.

Very nice device for good price
I have probably more than 20 Alexa / Smartlife devices and wanted to add a few more. Purchased this item. Like a new feature where I could check electric usage never seen this on my other devices. To connect was straightforward and works well so far. Thanks!

NOT a 3540W rating as advertised.
Despite what the listing advertises, these plugs DO NOT have a 3.5kw max load rating. See the photos I have taken of the item box, it clearly shows a MUCH LOWER max load rating. Also shows as being 13/16 amp NOT 16 amp.Mis-selling, maybe. Misleading, definitely.So if you definitely require a higher rating for safety, look elsewhere.That said, as I already had/have the Tuya app & smart app on my phone & in use, these were a breeze to add, as I had done it before, it literally took seconds to add each 1 then Alexa recognised them immediately & added them automatically for voice control through Alexa.Haven’t even looked at the energy watch, I didn’t buy them for that but for the 16amp rating.Would I recommend them? Yes, BUT they are NOT as advertised & even with a deal price of £30 for 4, I could have got similar spec13v ones at a better price. So just be aware.

These can literally automate your entire home
These Smart Sockets are absolutely fantastic! I have them switching various things such as lights, electric blankets and heaters to name but a few. I must have over ten of these smart sockets scattered throughout the house. They can be set up using the Smart Life app and the Smart Life app in turn can be linked to Alexa. Now I just say Alexa turn on the lights when I get home, or Alexa turn on electric blanket for 30 minute before going to bed, without needing to move!

Does not sync
these are the worst alexa plugs amazon sell they do not connect no matter how many times you try no matter if the router and the iPhone and the plug are all touching it refuses to sync and I tried twenty two time before giving up. I have done the sync with all my home devices and it works 3rd or 4th time but these plugs are useless and I wasted my weekend trying to get them to work.

Small but capable 16a remote switch
I use this switch to only come on when I decide. The timer is used to bring on my subwoofer in the evening when I am watching TV. Otherwise the equipment is using up power unessesarly, and wearing the components out such as capacitors drying out. The switch also monitors the monthly usage. Just another use for these switches.

They work flawlessly
Purchased 12 of these to power on/off plug-in lights throughout the house.Downloaded the app and followed the setup.The first one worked great – and changed its name to Lounge 1.Followed by the other 11 with names accordingly.Opened my Alexa app and setup a group called TURN THE LIGHTS and added the 12 named sockets to the group.All worked first time – “ALEXA TURN THE LIGHTS ON” and “ALEXA TURN THE LIGHTS OFF” when spoken does what it says on the tin.Worst part was the time to set each plug up – but each one only took a couple of minutes.So far very happy
