2. House security can be ensured by an automated system that operates as an audible and visual alarm sending notifications via a central hub. With the option of “away” or “stay” mode, the system’s smart security sensors, such as door sensors, human presence sensors and home security cameras, make it an all-in-one security network for complete house protection.
3. The Tuya Smart App allows remote control of devices connected to the gateway hub via mobile phones. A multi-mode gateway hub with grouped control is provided for reliable local linkage services that eliminate the need for separate control for Bluetooth and ZigBee devices via different interfaces.
4. The multi-functionality of the system is a breeze to control. Home automation and scenarios can be executed locally, even if network access isn’t available. The device permits the connection of multiple sub-devices, regardless of network access. The control system doubles up as a responsive alarm with three customizable settings: urgent, request for help, and fire alarm.

By connecting the device via 2.4GHz WiFi and Bluetooth to the Tuya Smart App, network cables can be plugged in next to the WiFi router to ensure strong and consistent network signals. An excellent product which performs well, as advertised
I bought this gateway as part of a concerted push to switch away from using wifi and to use Zigbee devices where possible in my Home-Assistant setup. The gateway worked perfectly, it was recognised by HA and it was easy to further add devices from within the Smartlife app.Unless you have infinite financial resources, you will have spotted that whether you use Zigbee, Bluetooth or WiFi, Tuya is the most prolific, most inexpensive, and option only player in town making everything from waterleak sensors through smoke detectors to on/off sockets and light buls. The platform which is fronted by the ‘Smartlife’ app is incredibly easy to useBeware, however, you should appreciate before making a decision as the ‘how to do things’ front that the Zigbee2MQTT approach is not as scary as it first seems. After buying into, and appreciating, the Gateway box, I’ve now started to migrate to the Zigbee2MQTT route. Even with the Smartlife app, the benefits are outweighed by the simplicity delivered with the mqtt solution.

Wired hub solved connection issues
Our zigbee switch was positioned behind large brewing pots and would not connect to the router. A long LAN cable with this hub solved the problem. Once the router was configured for 2.4g this hub âtalkedâ to a mobile phone. Low cost c/w Hive and works well.

Never worked from day one
Never got this gateway to work or connect to any smart devices.Can link it to the app but that is as far as it goes. I have tried over the past year time and time again.but nothing. If anything it messes with my WiFi signal so has sat in a box since day one. I have multiple other smart devices but not a single one has ever been connected to the gateway because it never can find them. Total waste of money.

Couldn’t get it connected, despite numerous attempts.
It just wouldn’t connect to my modem. The setup guide is very basic, as usual. I’ll do more research and pay a bit more next time.

Worked straight out of the box.
Followed the instructions and set it up using the Smart Life app in no time at all. Works well with my 3 way ZigBee smart dimmer switch allowing me to integrate it and control it via Google home.

Ich habe ein paar MOES Sensoren so wie auch Zigbee Geräte aus anderen Marken. In Vergangenheit arbeiten sie mit einander nicht zusammen und ich muss sie mit mehreren APPs konfigurieren und steuern. Jetzt ist alles einfacher: der hub bringt alle zusammen und ich kann sie unter einem Plattform steuern. Und was noch wichtiger ist, das Matter unterstützt völlig lokale, cloud-frei Protokoll, mit dem ärgert man sich nicht mehr über 1-2 Sekunden Wartezeit bis das Signal aus dem Server endlich zurück kommt. AuÃerdem ist das Gerät gut verarbeitet und besitzt ein schönes Design. Ich bin zufrieden!

Questa flessibilità è estremamente comoda e mi ha permesso di posizionarlo comodamente ovunque nella mia casa.Integrazione Zigbee Senza Problemi:L’hub ha dimostrato una connettività Zigbee affidabile e stabile, consentendo una facile integrazione con una vasta gamma di dispositivi compatibili Zigbee. Questo ha aperto un mondo di possibilità per espandere il mio ecosistema smart.Unica Pecca: LED di Attività Troppo Luminosi:La sola nota negativa che ho riscontrato riguarda i due LED di attività sul dispositivo.
