10-port PoE industrial switches support 1x Gigabit Uplink SFP port. The Port10 uses fiber optic cables to connect wired network segments in buildings or across campus that go beyond the boundaries of Ethernet wiring.
DIN rail, wall mounting

Link extension to 250 m
By selecting or activating the Extend mode on the front panel, the transmission distance of a PoE port can be up to 250m, which meets the requirement of wired transmission (bandwidth reduced to 10Mbps).
Port-based VLAN
When you activate expansion mode with DIP switch, the switch splits the data traffic for ports 1-8 to prevent muliticast or broadcast storm of the IP camera from affecting each other.
PoE Watchdog
PoE Watchdog allows the switch to automatically detect the port status and restart the failed ports to restore the connection in the event of a PoE device connection exception. This allows intelligent operation and maintenance management in the truest sense of the word and effectively reduces manual maintenance costs.

The poe port 1-8 support IEEE802.3af/at standard, max 30W per port, can connect multiple poe devices, such as POE camera, poe ap, etc. Please note that passive 24v poe is not supported. His POE input DC voltage is 48-55V, so please use a input voltage above 48V to provide POE, if it is 12V, it cannot provide POE

I am using this switch in an outdoor enclosure with other equipment. It works awesome and is connecting Internet gear that’s 120′ above it on a tower. It was easy to set up and install on the din rail. It’s already been subjected to some pretty harsh conditions and is still working like a champ!

No frills PoE switch. As a switch it works like any other unmanaged gigabit switch. With regards to PoE it negotiates both 802.3af and 802.3at connection correctly but does not respect power negotiated power limits. This is both good and bad. The upside is any device can draw power up to the limit. The bad is it will not protect the powered device from faults. However, some devices are not fully complaint with power limits and rely on internal protection circuits. This means this switch is more tolerant/compatible with PoE devices; purchasing a high end switch may actually backfire as it will occasionally fault and reset your device.Port isolation is oddly marketed as VLAN and the switch is labeled extend. This is likely due shared naming scheme used throughout the product line. However, I canât figure out why this necessary. Each label is unique and cannot be used for any other switch. Thus properly labeling each switch should not incur any additional cost. Maybe the mfg didnât want to pay for additional english translation?Regardless the port isolation feature works. When enabled, ports 1-4 can only communicate with ports 5&6 but not each other. Useless for security purposes but useful for controlling multicast issues.For its cost there are more sophisticated (web managed and even L2 managed if youâre willing to go down to fast ethernet) options available with more total ports (same 4 PoE) but a much lower power budget. This makes this switch targeted for a much smaller niche. This switch would best be suited for IP cameras and wireless AP. Where as if you only run one or two of these devices and want a more multipurpose switch; there are better options.

El dispositivo funciona perfectamente. Me resulta muy conveniente que el Uplink sea a 1Gbps y el resto a 100Mbps, ya que distribuye el tráfico de manera implÃcita. Una lástima que el manual no describa correctamente las funciones del DIP Switch, motivo por el que se lleva 4 de 5. VolverÃa a comprarlo sin duda.
