This scanner is great. Iâve been using it for about six months and a great thing about it. It updates for free. I am not a professional mechanic but I do mess about with a lot of cars. It has been such a useful tool and itâs capable of doing a lot of things, this would even be good for a professional mechanic that doesnât want to keep paying for updates. Highly recommend

Top quality construction, a little disappointing in use
The scanner exudes quality from the excellent carry case to the look and feel of the casing and screen. Setting up is a breeze – you configure it for your local wifi and allow it to update itself. It asks for an email address to which it says it will send updates and reports.The OBD plug is wireless and charges itself when docked in its magnetic recess on the rear of the scanner. Wireless operation was always something I considered a ‘nice to have’ but I have rapidly found it extremely easy and convenient to use.Crucially for me the scanner displays the full seven characters of a Jaguar Land-Rover digital trouble code. Many scanners only show the first five.The service procedures are fully comprehensive, ranging from moving the electric parking brake to service position, through diesel PDF regeneration (where fitted to the vehicle) to coding in new keys (if you are brave enough).The manufacturer encourages customers to pool their knowledge and provide useful repair hints against common dtcs. This is currently the weakest element in the unit’s operation because in the absence of information directly relevant to your vehicle and variant, the unit will search AI engines on the internet. In practice this means that nearly all the codes I searched on delivered the same AI response – a response suggesting a CAN-bus error or low battery voltage. In every case I knew this was at best irrelevant, and at worst erroneous. In principle it is a great idea – I am sure its time will come. Until then I prefer to work with the manufacturers workshop manual, cross-referencing the dtcs displayed against the text.It is a great piece of kit but no match for the manufacturer’s own diagnostics.

I am always skeptical when you see items like this and curious if they are going to be good or just overcharging for really crappy hardware. I was happy that I was wrong with my worries on this product. This company did not spare any expenses working on the details of this kit. Let start off with the case it looks good and is VERY well padded. There is no way anything is getting damaged in this case. I wish it had 2 zippers so you can always open it from either end but not a complaint but more of a wish.After you open the case you realize this is not just full of crappy addons that no one will ever use but they just use to bloat the item count to make it look better. NOT this case. Everything single thing inside this case feel premium. The ehternet cable is high quality, the USB C cable one of the best added cable I have had with any device in a long time including VERY expensive phones.I was very surprise to see the included Ethernet and OBDII Y splitter that allows you to connect via ethernet and the tablet at the same time. This cable is required for some BMW and Volvo programming. I might not ever need to use it but was really happy to see it was included. I Like that you can have a single kit with everything in it!This was just the unboxing, once I started to use the tablet I was even more impressed. Most of these tables are running a really crappy version of an OS that is way outdated and the hardware is way underpowered so every click takes 2-3 seconds to register and do something. But this hardware is running Android and the processor is so fast and snappy. This is a well specked out processor and memory for this task.I don’t know why but I absolutely love the face that the connector is magnetic and stick to the back of the device. The magnets are also strong, you are not going to hit this off by accident. I also love that face that the wireless connector is powered by the car itself so it will never need batteries or a crappy cable BUT don’t forget it in a car haha. The software does tell you to remember to take it so that is nice. I am not sure how it connects but it is really fast and I have never had it NOT connect yet.The kick stand on the back is really really stiff which is great so that the device does not move unless you want it to. It also goes straight back so that you can set the leg through the steeping wheel and it acts like an arm to hang it from the wheel. It is again very well thought out!The only thing I was disappointed about was the fact that the FIAT stuff was locked behind a paywall. I know this is a Fiat thing and not them but I have a Fiat 500 and now I have to pay MORE to get access to that computer so just be aware that it is 128/year for that service from Fiat.I have used this tablet to clear an error on my 2013 CX-5 as my flex pipe is leaking. It was able to pinpoint it and reset the error to turn off the check engine light. I was also able to take a spare set of keys that I received from Amazon but were too expensive to program (like $260 CDN) I fired up this device and it was a bit scary as then menus are not perfect translation to English and told me I need two keys or else my engine might never start again. I went ahead and wiped all the keys from the car and programmed my new keys with no issues. Again it is a bit difficult to understand the broken English form the translation but it’s not impossible to figure out. I was able to program the keys with no issues.I would highly highly recommend this computer if you work with cars all the time and need to do ECU and Computer programming for replaced parts where the computer must be reset to the new serial numbers.

Also das ist ja mal ein richtig tolles Teil. Egal ob von der Optik, von der Haptik oder von der Verarbeitungsqualität her, es gibt erstmal absolut gar nichts daran zu meckern. Alles ist praktisch in einer stabilen Box untergebracht und auch der Lieferumfang kann sich sehen lassen. Das Gerät selbst ist sehr stabil ausgeführt und auch gut gegen StöÃe geschützt, was in einer Werkstatt immer empfehlenswert ist. Der OBD-Stecker ist kabellos und befindet sich auf der Rückseite des Bildschirms und wird da via Magnet festgehalten. Das System unterstützt nahezu alle erdenklichen Fahrzeuge wobei hier beim auslesen der Fehler und dem Rückstellen von Services noch lange nicht Schluss ist. Da das Gerät via WLAN mit der groÃen, weiten Welt kommuniziert, wird es hier auch mit Updates versorgt und man kann auch darüber mit einer Community kommunizieren oder den Service kontaktieren. Sogar für ein Spielchen zwischendurch ist gesorgt. Für den Hausgebrauch auf jeden Fall ein top Gerät und auch für die kleine Werkstatt sicherlich ein Gerät mit Mehrwert.

Questo articolo della MUCAR modello 892BT si è dimostrato un prodotto ottimo sia sotto il profilo di gestione del software sia per qualità dei materiali utilizzati nella sua costruzione.Si tratta di uno strumento di diagnostica professionale per auto compatibile praticamente con tutti i veicoli immatricolati dopo lâanno 1996 e in alcuni casi anche con modelli antecedenti.Il set è molto ben fornito con tutti gli accessori riposti in maniera perfetta in una pratica valigetta con chiusura a zip e maniglia.I componenti principali di questo set diagnostico sono un tablet e da una specie di chiavetta ad esso collegata tramite bluetooth che in effetti è lo scanner da collegare alla porta diagnostica dellâauto.Il tablet essendo uno strumento professionale da lavoro appare con una struttura esterna rinforzata che da una sensazione di grande solidità e robustezza. E’ dotato di un ampio schermo touchscreen da 8 pollici con una risoluzione di 1280×800 pixel.Allâaccensione risulta sempre molto chiaro e leggibile anche in presenza di una forte luminosità esterna. Lâalimentazione è a batterie interne a litio ricaricabili che forniscono una grande autonomia di lavoro. Il processore interno è un quadcore con 4 GB di ram e 64 Gb di memoria. E’ dotato di sistema operativo android 10 con aggiornamenti gratuiti a vita.Grazie a questo dispositivo professionale non solo potremo monitorare tutti i dati dellâauto facendolo sia a veicolo fermo che i movimento. Ma andremo a rilevare anche tutti gli errori di sistema che si generano nella centralina dellâauto dovuti a guasti o errori di sistema o a parti meccaniche usurate. Potremo anche andare a modificare alcune impostazioni del veicolo come ad esempio la guida assistita, rilevamento carreggiata, o rilevamento stanchezza conducente etc. etc. I protocolli supportati sono tanti tra i quali: SAE J1850 PWM e VPW, ISO 9141-2 ISO, ISO 14230-4 KWP, ISO 15765-4 CAN, CANFD e DoIP. Ovviamente lâutilizzo di questo sistema di diagnostica è destinato agli operatori del settore specializzato e per officine meccaniche ed elettroniche.Le funzioni che ha questo dispositivo sono 11 tra cui:- autosearch con la quale si identifica la marca, il modello e lâanno dellâauto;- diagnosi completa del veicolo(questa funzione richiede una conoscenza approfondita delle informazioni del veicolo);- OBD ossia supporta i protocolli OBD II e EOBD sui veicoli immatricolati dopo 1996;- report funzione con la quale si registrano e salvano i dati diagnostici ed immagini del veicolo per analisi future;- feedback funzione con la quale se si riscontra un problema irrisolto o un bug del sistema diagnostico si richiede assistenza ad un team di esperti preposto.Insomma un prodotto davvero molto completo sotto tutti i punti di vista costruito con materiali di alta qualità e utilizzando una tecnologia al passo con i tempi. Expensive, works great. I had my doubts as I didnt think it would do much for my 2005 Chevy Colorado Z71LS 3.5 But, surprised me with all the things it can do. It told me what was wrong with my airbag and where to correct it instead of searching all over the different connectors. it has live data to check all the ecu and bcm componants and things I havent needed to check yet. if you want a Quality scanner with AI and bi-direction control this could be the one for you. It does more than you expect amd has free lifetime updates. Works great.
