Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is one of the best game controllers on the market. Best in class battery life, HD Rumble, excellent hand feel and excellent relability.At nearly 8 years old, I have a launch Switch Pro Controller which is still going strong with no issues. I recently purchased a second Pro controller as in typical Nintendo fashion, after 7 years on the market a small discount on the controller was offered.For me, personally. This controller is only second to the Xbox Wireless Controller as it missing the adaptive triggers but it wins the award for exceptional battery life which Sony and Microsoft controllers cannot match.I hope and pray that the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller remains compatiable with the Nintendo Switch 2

A must-have for adults
As a larger person (6ft 3in + 20st), I’ve always struggled with the joy-cons for the Switch and having tried a wired version of this (albeit with uncomfortable programmable buttons on the back), I could tell it was better but not quite there…Well Nintendo have crafted possibly the finest controller I have ever used! Fits in my hands beautifully, I no longer mash the wrong button with my thumb when in a rush, and with a built-in rechargeable battery (via USB-C ð) I can charge it via my Pixel 30W charger.The size is similar to the Xbox Series controller but the battery adds a lump which helps the ergonomics of it massively – probably something to do with the size/lifespan of it which is HUGE. It’s survived at least 25hrs of gaming so far with no sign of it letting up.Connection to the console was simple and hasn’t dropped once since, either docked or in table-top mode.Yes, there are cheaper options out there but read the reviews – they’re unreliable with their connections, the battery life is poor.This is first party from Nintendo and as a mature gamer, I cannot recommend this highly enough

We bought this controller as part of a Prime day package along with a Switch and Mario Odyssey. It’s not something I would ordinarily buy separately, but it represented good value when combined as a package. I have to say, I’m very pleased we got it!When docked the joycons feel far too small and awkward in my hands (I have very large hands), even when connected to the connecting section. Whereas the Pro Controller is excellent. The touch and feel of the controller is very premium. The buttons have a satisfying level of travel and feel very accurate. I would say the quality is on par with an Xbox controller, easily superior to a PS controller. My wife and children also find it ideal to use with the Switch.Battery life on the controller is excellent, we usually leave it plugged in nut even after extended gaming sessions we have never come close to running out.The overall price tag is hefty and I would say it’s probably too much, but if you can get it as a discount, or bundled with other stuff I think it starts to represent good value for money. Also keep in mind that if you want to play any serious co-op locally you are going to need at least one other controller, a joycon each isn’t going to cut it. Getting one of these will satisfy co-op requirements and also offer a superior experience when playing solo.Once Diablo comes out in November the Pro controller will probably get worn out until there’s nothing left of it.

J’ai récemment acheté une Switch OLED et ayant pour but de l’utiliser principalement sur sa station de “docking” pour y jouer sur mon PC, je voulais quelque chose de plus confortable que les joycons de base.Cette manette est parfaite et est aussi confortable qu’une manette de Xbox. Rien à redire dessus, ça respire la solidité, que ça soit au niveaux des sticks ou des boutons. La manette a un plastique avec un effet rugueux qui permet de bien la tenir en main sans avoir la sensation qu’elle glisse.Niveau autonomie, ça a l’air de bien tenir. Je n’ai pas tenté de jouer jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit déchargée mais même après une grosses session de plusieurs heures, la batterie indiquée était encore très haute.Je l’utilise principalement pour jouer à MHGU et c’est vraiment nickel.En tout cas, je conseil vraiment cette manette pour ceux qui jouent beaucoup, surtout si vous utilisez peu la console en mode “portable”.

Hoy domingo 22 de noviembre escribo esta reseña con la intención de actualizarla en un mes.Llevo con el control 3 dÃas. La diferencia con los joy-con en mi opinión es colosal. La comodidad, ergonomÃa, sensación en las manos es impresionante. Incluso los botones son más grandes y los LR y ZLZR se sienten muy agradables de utilizar.Viene con su cable de carga (que conectas a la consola para emparejarlo) y su instructivo de uso.Lo he probado con RE Revelations y Smash Ultimate y sinceramente me siento más cómodo que con el confort grip. Espero que en un mes todo siga igual. ComprarÃa otro si pudiera.ACTUALIZACIÃNHoy martes 22 de diciembre de 2020 escribo para comentar mi experiencia de uso en el primer mes.El control sigue funcionando perfectamente. Los botones se sienten un poco más sueltos, especialmente los gatillos (normal por el uso constante).La baterÃa me dura aproximadamente 1 semana o semana y media jugando en promedio 4 horas al dÃa. Solo lo he cargado 2 veces en este mes.Aún lo sigo recomendando. Veremos que pasa en el tercer mes de uso, actualización el 22 de febrero de 2021.ACTUALIZACIÃNHoy lunes 22 de febrero de 2021 escribo ésta reseña correspondiente al tercer mes de uso.El control sigue funcionando perfectamente, no ha habido ningún problema con los joysticks, botones o baterÃa. Ya lo probé con Mario Kart 8 Deluxe y se juega perfectamente. Activé la vibración Deluxe en algunos juegos y la experiencia es más inmersiva, aunque gasta más baterÃa. Se me ha caÃdo 2 veces de una altura de aproximadamente 50 c.m. (altura del lugar donde lo guardo) y no tiene ni un rasguño, ignoro si tuve suerte o el producto es de alta calidad (deberÃa ser asà por lo que estás pagando). Por el momento solo me queda agregar 2 recomendaciones. La primera, darle mantenimiento a los joysticks, ya que acumulan algo de polvo y podrÃa generar un “drift” prematuramente. Con un isopo de algodón deberÃa ser suficiente. La segunda, consigue unos protectores para los thumbsticks, a veces la misma grasa de las manos vuelve algo resbalosa la superficie (que es lisa) y podrÃa resultar algo incómodo para jugar. Por el momento es todo. Actualización 22 de mayo de 2021.ACTUALIZACIÃNHoy sábado 22 de mayo de 2021 escribo esta reseña correspondiente al sexto mes de uso.Bueno, quizá sea la última vez que actualice ésta reseña. Primero que nada, sostengo todo lo que he comentado anteriormente; vale la pena tener este control. Si tienes un nintendo switch, cómpralo, no te vas a arrepentir. Es verdad que cuesta más de lo común, pero más te va a costar reparar o comprar los joy-con cuando aparezca el temido “drift”. Si tienes la posibilidad no lo pienses 2 veces. Puedes esperar a que haya algún descuento o venta especial. La experiencia será totalmente diferente al confort grip. No olvides lo que te comenté de los protectores de thumbsticks. Cuida de no utilizar el control con las manos grasosas, a veces se mancha y no se ve muy estético que digamos. Obviamente el comentario anterior va enfocado a darle mantenimiento a tu control. Te recomiendo hacerlo al menos 2 veces al mes o cada que se necesite (pon especial atención al área de los joysticks). Ãsalo hasta que tenga una carga baja o se haya descargado completamente, esto va a ayudar a mantener la vida útil de la baterÃa. Sobre todo usa tu sentido común. Recuerda que si hiciste una inversión a tu diversión, lo mÃnimo que debes hacer es cuidarla. Si algo surge lo comentaré en este espacio. Espero que mi experiencia de uso y comentarios te ayuden a realizar una compra informada y responsable. Me despido esperando que disfrutes tu compra tanto o más como lo he hecho yo.

O controle original da Nintendo é o melhor para o console, considerando também que é compatÃvel com Windows (talvez XBox) e Linux com ajuda da Steam via Bluetooth. A bateria dura muito, vai levar muito tempo pra precisar recarregar. Quanto ao PC, especificamente Steam, você vai conseguir usar quase todos os recursos, inclusive sensor de movimento, porém não sei até onde vai a compatibilidade fora da plataforma.

I bought this and it was delivered to me in under 24 hours. The controller is worth it for anyone who is looking for a good controller for their switch. It feels much more premium than the joy cons, if you’re thinking about buying it to use it instead of the joy cons, I highly recommend you do so. The buttons are much larger and are much more comfortable to use too. I may be the only one who thinks this but I personally really like how the triggers feel, they feel like buttons however they give much quicker responses compared to the ones which are like the Dualsense and Xbox controllers.Overall, if you’re thinking about upgrading your gameplay and getting a better controller for your switch, I highly recommend you get this one.(It’s a real controller from nintendo and not a fake one btw)Take care!
