Works as transmitter with Sony WH-CH520 headphones
I bought this device in order to be able to use Sony WH-CH520 headphones with a radio. The information on Amazon says it doesn’t work with Sony headphones, but a previous review said it does, so I thought it would be worth a try. I followed the instructions in the headphone manual for connecting to “Other Bluetooth devices”, and connection took place smoothly. Sound quality is very good, and it works between floors of a two-story house. It also works fine as a receiver. For use as a receiver, the output volume has to be set quite high, but again it works between floors. Another good thing is that it comes with printed instructions, which are brief but sufficient.

Great value
Cheap little Bluetooth receiver/transmitter but works really well. I have it connected to my Bluetooth headphones and can walk around the house with perfect sound connection. Switch on the headphones, switch on the transmitter and they connect automatically every time.

Works with iphone 15 and Samsung S24+ in older honda through car speakers
Upgraded my phones to iphone 15 Pro and Samsung S24+ and my 61 Plate Honda CRV USB connection no longer worked, ended up buying this and use the line-in in the centre console to be able to play music through car speakers.While good the battery does not last 8 hrs with use but good enough, it is tiny in size and has a chinese english accent. When connecting from 1 phone to another you do always have to pair again but quick to do.Mainly happy as my wife can use spotify through car speakers again, so no ear ache, would recommend especially as so cheap.

Noisy, but simple to use.
Lots of not so low level noise. Gonna buy a good one now. Interference is very off putting and constant. I advise you to avoid this very basic unit. I will say that apart from that one issue everything else was as advertised. I don’t think mine is faulty, just reflective of the price.

Very neat and effective EXCEPT latency makes it unworkable for monitoring musical instruments via headphones through it.If you are using it to listen to recorded music, radio, podcasts etc it’s very good through my Bluetooth headphones. But not when listening to an instrument I was playing and monitoring through the headphones. One whole beat of lag at a moderate tempo. Actually quite good fun to experiment with the effect but no use for playing properly!But otherwise very good value, nicely made and packaged.

Poor performance for use with running earphones
I only used the Transmission function, so I can’t review how well the Receiver function works.I got this for transmitting from my mp3 player to my wireless earphones whilst out on runs, since my wired earphones are starting to strip and they get in the way anyway, and I didn’t want to take my bulky fragile smartphone out with me. Other reviews have noted the included audio connector causes a whiny background noise so I knew to expect this, but it wasn’t a big deal as it isn’t noticeable once the music starts playing.Unfortunately despite only transmitting from my running shorts pocket to my ears, the audio kept cutting in and out. The product description advertises a functional range of 10m but I don’t see how this is possible. If you use a treadmill and have a counter to put it on it would probably work but at that point you might as well just use your phone. I guess need something a bit stronger and less budget.
