Basic but usefully long
This cable comes plainly bagged with a cable tie keeping it coiled. There’s no premium feel and the connector housing is a bit soft and plasticky but the cable has a thick PVC cord and connections are good at both ends. The cable supports 5V2A so is ideal for powering my night lights, I have these all over my house and being five metres long this cable allows me to connect one a fair distance away from the power supply. It also works well with my PS5 controllers so overall I am very happy with this cable.

I needed this for a CCTV camera and it works just fine.Often longer cables such as this can’t support fast or superfast charging (which aren’t needed for your average CCTV camera, of course) but this one claims to support the former… and I think it does. When I initially plugged it into my Android phone, my phone alerted me to “slow charging” on its sleep screen… but when I went to the lock screen it said it was “fast charging, 44 minutes to full” – and this is exactly the same message that appeared when I plugged in a known fast charger and cable. It’s possible that because the charger I was using is a very high powered one a choking of the supply was detected, but nevertheless enough power was getting through for fast charging.So I’m going to say yes, it does do what it says it will.Happy.

Picked up this 5M USB-C power extension cable to give my Aqara FP2 more flexibility with placement, and itâs been perfect. The length is just right for running it along the wall or ceiling without needing to be right next to an outlet.Build quality is solidâthick cable, good connectors, and no power drop issues. The FP2 runs just fine without any interruptions, which was my main concern.If you need extra reach for your FP2 (or any other USB-C device), this does the job without fuss.
