Quality scanner coupled with very competent software
Solid and competent scanner for slides and negatives. Scanning is quicker per slide/negative than my old scanners and I prefer the manual method of selecting each slide for scanning rather than the automatic method of the 35i. Coupled with the excellent Silverfast software you can set your frame for each slide, avoiding possible over scans that will need cropping in post production. Some post production may be required although I find this with most scanners of this type. If you need quality scans, you can’t go wrong with this scanner.

Quick and Easy
A quick and easy solution to scanning slides, with a choice of resolutions. It is rather expensive though!

Works as intended. The black and white scan is very good and high quality but the color scan appears to be in the bluish hue. Im not sure if it is because of the film but I rescanned a roll that was previously scanned from a lab and the color is distinguishably different. I ended up scanning it raw then invert in lightroom. Scanning takes a bit more time.
