It probably works fine but I made a mistake in ordering this item saw it connected to the kindle but once it arrived I realised I should of ordered the kindle paperwhite 11th edition lead cos the item I bought doesnât fit my kindle . Lesson learned read the full advert before going ahead and purchasing what you thinks right

Not fit for purpose – did not charge Kindle (2016 model), if anything it appeared to drain battery.Have successfully applied through Amazon for refund.
