WOW, hifi bargain, soundbar killer
I’ve been listening and buying hifi for about 36 years now. Always amplifiers or av receivers with different speaker combinations including 5.1I decided to sell all my equipment and get two pairs of Roxel onyx, one in black and one in oak. The oak is a lovely finish by the way.I’ll get the minus points out the way first. Both speakers have hiss on all the inputs, so if you listen to quiet music, you might hear it.The input light can be annoying and it can’t be dimmed. I put a piece of black rubber over mine sometimes. The grilles are really stiff and would be better on magnets.Now the positives, Roxel have included all the inputs you could possibly need , RCA for analogue, optical/coaxial better if you’ve got it and hdmi arc( set your TV to pcm, if you get no sound.Sound, wow I don’t miss my seperates anymore. They sound so detailed, I’m hearing sounds I’ve never heard before. This is accompanied by a smooth sound with the right amount of bass for me personally.Bluetooth is very good, close to CD and I’ve not had any breakups in my 10 feet range. In fact as soon as I turn on the speakers, my phone starts playing.CDs via analogue RCA or optical/coaxial are just glorious. In fact I tried some Q Acoustics 2020 speakers with a Marantz mcr603 and the Roxel sound better. So they probably sound better than the Q Acoustics active speakers which are three times more.Hdmi arc movies are great, very good clarity clear dialogue and deep bass. I watched FLIGHT with Denzal Washington and the aircraft sounded amazing with deep bass. The Crow was really enjoyable, loud and clear. Spotify via hdmi is a delight, Suzanne Vega headshots and Roxy Music Same old scene sounded like reference recordings.If you’ve got the space, these speakers not only destroy soundbars but beat most budget speakers and amps. Make sure you space them out for the best sound.INCREDIBLE VALUE £100-£110, thanks Roxel.

Pleasantly surprised! My TV has come alive! Can watch programs without subtitles and clearly hear and understand the dialogue. Love the movie, music and dialogue buttons on remote to quickly change the sound, based on what your watching/listening. Primarily bought for Spotify. I hate speakers where everything just sounds mushed together, not with these pair though…so far, very impressed and they look amazing! Great value for £99. Early days as only had them one day so will review again in a few weeks. Fyi, I’m not an audiophile.

Awesome sounding speakers
I Love these speakers.I’m using them as wall speakers mounted on brackets. I’m not sure they’re as good as the four Wharfedale’s I had connected to my separates but having limited space and not wanting a load of wires everywhere I went for these and they sound great.Bluetooth is flawless with no lag and connection to my phone or bluetooth turntable is almost instant.Just make sure that you turn off your phone bluetooth when connecting to a deck as the speakers can’t be connected to two things at the same time.Build quality is lovely and they have a good weight to them. The only negative in my view is having to connect the main speaker to the slave speaker via a din cable, but I guess you can’t have everything.Highly recommended ð

Great sound for a low price!
I read the product reviews for these speakers referencing high quality sound at reasonable price but to be honest my expectations were low. However, I couldnât be more pleased with sound quality at all volume levels and they also look great. I have connected these to my turntable via RCA input but will also use the Bluetooth connectivity for Spotify etc. I know you can spend 100âs on speakers and I might well have done but thought at the price I would give these a go- glad i did as definitely keeping.

I have been into my audio for many years and have paid thousands for some products over the years. For the money these are excellent and can highly recommend. Larger than expected and solidly build. Sound quality is good with clear detailed highs and solid controlled lows reinforced by rear port.

Kleine Brüllwürfel mit vielen Anschlüssen, genau richtig für den Sohnemann. Die offizielle HIFI Norm wird sicherlich erfüllt aber audiophile Ansprüche sollte man nicht haben, dafür sind die Boxen auch nicht konzeptionell gedacht. Achtung es wird ein Stromadapter von UK auf DE benötigt.

J’en avais assez du son du téléviseur 55 pouces de notre chambre. J’avais passé une première commande d’une paire d’enceintes actives d’une marque très répandue sur Amazon, mais qui ne comportait pas l’HDMI ARC (constat fait à la réception du produit), et qui de plus, m’avaient déçu au niveau du rendu musical. Je n’en dirai pas plus !!!!J’ai donc voulu tester ces ROXEL ONYX. Aussitôt reçues, aussitôt connectées….. Et là , une belle gifle que je me suis prise dés les premières notes sur une chanson de Diana Krall !!!! Moi, qui ai l’habitude d’écouter mes musiques dans le salon sur de l’Harman et Kardon connecté à des colonnes Klipsch Series RF-82 MKII et un caisson de basses, ces petites enceintes ont réussi à me scotcher. Alors bien sûr, toutes proportions gardées, l’ampleur et la puissance n’ont rien à à voir avec mon installation de salon, mais la qualité musicale est là . De plus pour le visionnage de films ou de séries, cela change tout. Belle profondeur sonore, des basses présentes mais pas envahissantes, une présence et un vrai réalisme dans les médiums et des aigus qui n’agressent pas. En bref, quoi dire de plus sur ces enceintes qui font un super job et qui méritent certainement d’être mieux connues chez nous. Seul dommage, le délai de livraison un peu longuet. Cependant, colis reçu un jour avant la date théorique, bravo Amazon et UPS. Je ne peux que recommander et plébisciter, ces petites enceintes. A voir dans la durée.
